I am not convinced they HAD to get over with all the weddings and functions while staying at the resort--makers are perfectly capable of going forward with a story in other ways if they decide to keep the big revelations for later. SO many sub-plots, tracks got wrapped up hastily into the span of, like, 3 weeks--not even a month! And this show started in March if I remember correctly, what was the point of this? Gul's previous Jinn show mein they took a decent amount of time in clearing up the MU. I'm sad at the loss of so much potential🤔

Everything went down hill since post leap.

I just want ParAkshita be on my TV screen for as long as possible with their cute romance.

To me, even pre-leap seemed fast-paced. The way they cleared Jagrata MU, Ahaan got to know Ishqi being an orphan, he got softer towards her in much early stage compared to all other Gul's shows. The pace was similar to other Sony shows Dil hi to hai. I always thought they were going to get married at the end of Sonu's marriage but they delayed it because of pandemic. The real story always felt to be after marriage conflicts. At least that's what I took it from the show.

I guess they had changed the storyline...like come to think of it also...how much can you show separation track in a resort where they have limited space because of covid.i mean separation also means ishqaan would be in different places but here they are stuck in the same place.and yes maybe savvys truth could unfold but ahaan needs to see dadi upto something in order to make him realise something is wrong....just a thought

Maybe to be sure the show isnt going off air we could message abha mam or someone to confirm it...or atleast request not to end the show atleast a year

Even I feel the actual story would progress after-marriage considering all the social issues they want to show ( hopefully ).

Surname change, Job, Household work, Kids etc etc.

And ofcourse the grand Savvy truth. 😎

Yes, it does seem they changed the story a bit like leap wasn't planned. But I think Ishqaan wedding was planned along with Sonu's wedding due to all the rituals and symbolism they did. In fact, I think, in real story Mayank's truth would have come in front of Ahaan without a leap and Ishqaan would have got married somehow. I also thought it wouldn't have been forced marriage as it will be out of character for Ahaan. My prediction was they will get married for their feelings and care for each other but won't confession love before marriage , kind of arranged marriage with some extra feelings 😆

But as they had to extend shoot in resort, they came up with leap and few extra epsides to expose Mayank.

I also got that vibe from the promos that their ideological conflicts will make up a big part of the show and it's not possible to show that properly unless these two are living under one roof and sharing a life. That's what worries me. I wonder how they're going to portray that meaningfully without making it look banal and just like any other series with couple fighting over different things. DHTH had the opportunity to show post-marriage conflicts because it moved to ALT and had all the time and liberty it needed to flesh out the conflicts and storyline etc. I really liked how they broke it down to three seasons and also that break in the last one. That's the only EK family/romance show I somewhat liked after ages, except for some minor issues and that weirdly abrupt ending. IPZN won't have that luxury and I'm not sure Gul is into the seasonal thing. The only big elephant in the room rn is Ahaan's mother's truth and once that's out, the makers might have difficulty showing a real conflict without over the top drama and evil inner monologues.

Yes, the execution could have been better with same story and pace
