Actually this is the most realistic approach that makers could have taken , I personally know a couple in my relatives who waited for 12 years to get blessings from both side of parents , they didn't take any step like eloping or something just waited patiently together and said they will not marry anyone else

Actually most of the time when such situations arrive in Itv , I had seen leads of the serial bending down in front of their parents demand or something dramatic and I often use to think if parents can blackmail why can't you , it seemed frustrating seeing them give up but I am so glad IPZN makers have choosen this way 😛, it's smart and realistic and full of common sense which is often forgotten in ITv land🤣

Also Kartik's eyes during whole time Ahaan was taking stand was so proud , happy and slightly tearful , it was so good ❤️ He is the only person other than Ishqaan who had seen their love from starting and played his role of cupid so well ❤️

He is literally the eyes and voice of audience😃😆

Also loved the part where sarlu opens her mouth to say something and Ahaan just raises his hand to shut her up...!!!

What I loved most is that it was not just the hero or heroine unilaterally deciding to make a sacrifice. They have become a team, a unit & it is their joint decision on a matter that affects both. It is their joint sacrifice for something that by virtue of being Aahan’s priority is now their joint priority.

And I absolutely loved that while they gave in, they did give up. While they ceded the control over their life to an elder out of respect they did not cede control over their hearts or lower the value of their own views & feelings. They did not disown their love for a moment.

And, Ahu lalla was articulate & wonderfully categorical, not leaving an inch for Rhea to crawl thru or Dadi to smuggle her thru.

These 3 things are almost unprecedented in ITV 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I mean y not cvs show little different abt team 2..?same old negativity 😖😠 .without negative characters y not little cute track!! They can take this story as after they get married dealing problems or face with different issues of life..dadi help them to fight,rhea tell the truth and look for her child biological dad ..it could have been interesting..
