Arai En 305il Kadavul

After 'Imsai Arasan', director Simbhu Devan has settled down to do another hilarious entertainer in Arai En 305il Kadavul. This time he has teamed up with Prakash Raj and comedians Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu.

Vidyasagar had composed five numbers for the movie which has the likes of Shreya Ghosal, Karthik, Swetha Mohan besides Vidyasagar himself rendering their voice for the album.

Scoring music for a comedy film is no easy task. But Vidyasagar has managed to come out with catchy songs which are like a mild evening breeze. A man of melodies, Vidyasagar is in his prime form composing music.

Ada Ada….. (Vineeth, Jayamurthy)

It's a song set in imaginary situation. The heroes imagine themselves to be Neil Armstrong and sing after landing on moon. A peppy number with brisk music, the tune is trendy and a fusion of western and Indian music. Vineeth and Jayamurthy's open throated music manages to create the mood. Pa Vijay has penned the lyrics.

Kadhal Sei (Vidyasagar)

Music director Vidyasagar has rendered his voice for this romantic number. Penned by Na Muthukumar, the song dwells on the changes love can bring a change to a youth. Interestingly, Vidyasagar has sung the song himself. The Western electric equipments and the excellent use of guitar are the highlights of the song. The song is chic, peppy and trendy. Na Muthukumar has brought life to the song with his lyrics.

Avaram Poovukum (Shreya Ghosal)

Begins with fast paced tabla, the song quickly settles down to catch a right rhythm. Shreya Ghosal with her mesmerizing soft voice attracts the attention. The use of percussion instruments specially the dholaks and tablas besides violins in right mix attracts attention of all music-buffs. Kabilan pens the lyrics for the number.

Thendraluku Nee (Karthick, Swetha Mohan)

A typical Vidyasagar number. He knows the knack of coming up with a touchy melody in his albums. The song has all ingredients to top the charts for it has melody written all over it. An 'alap' in the middle is sweet to listen to. Karthik is at his usual best, while Swetha Mohan is an interesting prospect to watch out.

Kurai Ondrum Illai (Harini)

It is simply a take off the famous Carnatic 'keerthana' Kuraio Ondrukm Illai (written by the great Rajagopalachari). It soon settles down to dwell on the challenges faced by the lead heroes in the movies and how they pray Almighty to overcome it. Unfortunately the usual pep in Harini's voice goes missing.

Arai En…is a catchy music album. It has pace, breeze and melody.

Hats off Vidyasagar for an excellent job.

Nepali Music Review

Source:IndiaGlitz

Srikanth Deva is hitherto known for his peppy and racy songs. A young music composer, he has proved that he too can come up with quality musical score that is contemporary, trendy and chic.

'Nepali' is a quality album which has fresh vocals coupled with a excellent harmony, instrumentation and good use of trumpets and saxophone.

Also Srikanth Deva has opted for some melodious numbers too. The man with maximum movies this year has laced the songs right rhythm made to good use.

Director V. Z. Durai has also lent his voice to a couple of songs set to the tunes of Srikanth Deva.

(Vedanai Pola Naan)

A melodious number but oozes with lively energy. Karthik, Bombay Jayashree, Savitha and Suchithra render the song in the company of V. Z. Durai. As usual Karthik is at his best while Bombay Jayashree's mastery in classical music comes to the fore.

Srikanth Deva has come up with enthralling music using the saxophone to the maximum during the interludes.

Yugabharathy's lyrics are catchy and sentimental.

(Wanna Sexy Lady)

As the title of the track suggests, it is a vibrant and peppy number rendered by Sunitha Sarathy and Megha. Quite typical to Srikanth Deva's earlier works, the song begins on a soft note and it gathers momentum as it progresses.

Peppy drum beats, the use of additional rhythm and a catchy chorus are the highlights of the number. Lyrics by Karthik Netha is sure to attract youngsters. The lyrics are hot and openly suggestive.

(Hey You Wow)

It's a song with heavy instrumentation. Rap, peppy beats, heavy acoustics merge together in this song. Thanvi, Siva and director Durai have sung with an open-throated voice. The track has a long spell of drum beats followed by a rap bit.

The catchy chorus with strains of guitar gives the song the right lift.

(Kanavile Kanavile)

Again a foot-tapping number. Rendered by Sathyan, and Swetha, the song again starts with a rap.

Swetha is impressive with her soft rendition of the song while Sathyan goes all banging.

Yugabharathy's lyrics are soul-stirring while a catchy instrumentation, beautiful chorus and the fast-paced rhythm are scintillating.

(Suthuthey Suthuthey)

Inspired by a popular Western number, Srikanth Deva has come up with a racy number rendered by Yugendran and Vijay.

With more English words, the song is sure to find a place on the dance floors. the instrumentation is impressive coupled with the energetic voice of Yugendran.

In addition, the album also includes three small strains. The track 'the Words of Nepali (Story1)' is soft ane melodious. Laced with strange words, the song reflects the tribal life in an alien land.

'Love in A Minor (Story2) is a soft track with strains of flute and saxophone, while the 'Sound of action (Story3)' is a powerful, high-decibel instrumentation capturing the mood of its theme.

Thanks to Srikanth Deva, Durai's 'Nepali' is a youthful and enthusiastic album which is sure to attract youngsters.

Out of all the songs " Hey You wow" is best song. But other songs are just draggs. I was really disappointed when i heard the songs but more on Srikanth Deva i loved all this songs his albums are always hits😃.

Kuruvi Music Review

Kuruvi - A loud chirp

IndiaGlitz

Dharani, Vijay and Vidyasagar share an excellent rapport between them. It was evident in 'Gilli', which had a catchy music and went on to become a blockbuster.

Now the trio comes together again for 'Kuruvi'. Obviously expectations are high on the movie. The audio of the movie promises to live up to all the hype and hoopla.

The album has six tracks including theme music. Vidyasagar has managed to come up with songs, which are bundle of energy and foot-tapping. The likes of Yogi, Dr Burn, Anuradha Sreeram, Sangeeth Haldipur and Vidyasagar himself have lent their voice.

Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, 'Kuruvi' has songs which are foot-tapping and energetic.

Happy New Year ( Sunidhi Chauhan, Yogi, Dr Burn)

Music composer Vidyasagar makes a heady start. A perfect opening in the album, it sets the right mood for the listeners. Acclaimed rap singers Yogi and Dr Burn render the song in the company of Sunidhi Chauhan.

Penned by Na Muthukumar, it has a pacy music with addition rhythm. The rap interludes in between are very catchy.

⭐️ 4/4: Awsome Song

Dandana Dara (Sangeeth Haldipur)

A perfect 'kuthu' song. Oozing with energy all through, the song has everything a front-bencher would jump and shake his legs in theatres. With Vijay on screen, such high-pitched song is sure to woo audience.

Sangeeth Haldipur is a perfect foil to render the song. A lyric by Kabilan, which glorifies the hero, is adequate.

⭐️: Really a Rocking soon must here this one soo much beat into this song 4/4

Thaen Thaen (Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghosal)

It is a soft romantic number. Udit's open-throated voice in the company of Shreya Ghosal's mesmerizing way of rendering of the duet sticks to our hearts immediately.

This song sticks to a pattern. It flows free and smooth from the beginning. The soft beats and good use of guitar in the interludes are good. Yugabharathy's lyrics are noteworthy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/4 Really good song

Paalaanadhu Paalaanadhu (Vidyasagar, Rajalakshmi)

Vidyasagar has tried to marry East and the West. The song begins with typical Chennai percussion instruments. However it shifts gears to take a western beat with Vidyasagar and Rajalakshmi, going all guns to render a song which is sure to find a place in all dance floors. In between the Punjabi Bhangra music is used well by Vidyasagar. Pa Vijay has penned the song.

⭐️: Big time a Best songs offf all Kudo to Vidyasagar for this song

Mozha Mozhanu (KK , Anuradha Sreeram)

It is customary for every Vijay film to have a peppy song which will be laced with fast beats and racy tune. Mozha Mozhannu is one such number which Anuradha Sreeram and KK rendering the number with amazing energy.

Pa Vijay's youthful lyric gets subdued in the heavy music of Vidyasagar. But the use of additional percussion instruments and racy rhythms are the major highlights of the song.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/4: Average song
