(Savitri-Ishqi) V/S (Dadi-Sonu)

I'm very very irritated after watching that promo. Yet, these days I'm trying my best to think positive and so.. I came up with this theory about the new promo.

The parallel:

What we saw in the promo was a subservient Ishqi, who is literally opposite of who she used to be. I'm not a fan of this track, but I'm trying to make sense out of it.

Savitri - Ishqi (The similarities )

1. We have both of these women, who were close to Mr. AVM and he believes both of them are a disappointment and hates them to the core.

2. Ishqi, would become some what on the lines of Savitri, a timid and fearful woman.

3. Both of them have not wronged Ahaan in any way but are highly misunderstood.

Dadi - Sonu ( The similarities )

1. These are the women, Ahaan loves more than himself. He trusts them the most in the world.

1. Dadi - Sonu are both hiding something very vital from Ahaan, making him hate the women (Ishqi n Savitri).

2. Both the women are extremely selfish and want Ahaan's love at all cost. One doesn't want to lose her grandson, the other doesn't want to lose his trust.

So, we were always scared that Sonu might run away from her wedding etc as she is always compared to her mother. Funny thing, she ended up being like her grandmother instead, who is supremely selfish.

not a fan of the upcoming track but loved the interpretation! especially this - "Funny thing, she ended up being like her grandmother instead, who is supremely selfish."

i hope if we are not getting ishqi risky, they better point out what you have interpreted. dadi and sonu should pay for their deeds!

still rooting for ishqi risky though 😭

After seeing the promo I don't think we're gonna have the same Ishqi.

Seems like the makers want Ahaan to be very broken with what both of these ladies (Dadi n Sonu) have let happen with Ishqi n Savitri.

For keeping quiet all this while. He is gonna be mad at Sonu too for sure. That's the only hope I have.

i hope ishqi rises back to her power soon.

why they have to make ishqi weak just for ahaan to be broken? he should be broken by what dadi-sonu did nonetheless. why ishqi has to suffer - mahn she has been suffering all this time, she also has a past! now this story seems more about ahaan's past rather than ishqaan's conflicting ideologies and their path to deal w it. this is turning into a typical show.

however, i won't justify ahaan now and neither I'm after ishqaan's love story but ahaan better be mad at sonu and dadi! i hope raj to be mad at sonu, as well - hiding the truth from him is basically cheating. he should be mad at her for letting ishqi suffer all this time, i hope they show it.

Sonu to Ishqaan ki shaadi hone de Pehle Ishqi ki NANAD ban gayi. Harkate dekho.

Savitri and Ishqi must gang up and give it back to Malhotras brutally.

And I don't even want Ishqaan ..no matter how much Ahaan begs for forgiveness....Ishqi should get another guy.

But to Sonu's defence - Sonu is also a victim, she is a timid woman to begin with, her mother's supposed "actions" have foreshadowed her life. She is under immense pressure so that she does not turn out to be like her.

Her brother Ahaan hasn't made it easier for her either - his regressive thinking about women and his unrealistic expectations of her have made her act the way she is. He is her only real family and she can't bear to loose or have him hate her like he does his mother. She is afraid to break his heart or loose him!

Her mother in law treats her like trash - that can be thrown out anytime she wants and her husband doesn't even stand up for her. For her - it seems like she has EVERYTHING at stake. She is not even independent like Ishqi.

In reality, she is all alone and she is brought up in a way where she can't stand up for herself either. Basically - its reality, stories of most women in our country who never stand up to any abuse or wrong doing. They have been brainwashed just the same.
