So glad to hear this! I was skeptical and a bit nervous about the trend. A few made it seem like it’s about making ShiVi the leads which would have been very insulting to the ensemble and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The cast is so beautiful offscreen, they don’t deserve drama or disrespect. And having a easy going environment at work is so important, esp these days! I’m really glad it was a respectful and beautiful way to say that fans love ShiVi and want the writers to invest in their story.

I really enjoy this forum because it’s so balanced (knock on wood it remains like this). Glad Twitter didn’t take it out of hand. Honestly, if they give me a solid & well written GauRa track, I’ll watch that and same with DevTa (given Akshay is given more training to improve his acting). In the end, the story is the lead for me. If there is no progress in the story, even ShiVi can’t keep me around.

Aside from one or two extreme peeps out there, the rest of the fandom seems to want a good story and are invested in ShiVi because of the chemistry & potential for a beautiful story! Anyway, hope the writers take note and give us the story we deserve to see and these actors deserve to bring to life ❤️

Kanwar’s FB post which he posted 3 hrs ago about his first show as a lead actor in HUM HAIN NA in Sony TV. Unfortunately not able to post the video he shared. It had him come out of water😃, I know many of you would like it. Will see if I can find the youtube link. But please read the post he wrote.

HUM HAIN NA (2014),my first lead show for Sony Tv which I bagged after doing Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (2013) that gave me instant recognition. HHN gave me a character to remember for a lifetime,Bunty Bhaiya! I am infact still called Bunty Bhaiya by all the vegetable vendors,shop owners in my locality. I'm sure now its definitely gonna change to Shiva with Pandya Store! The overall experiences back then from Meeting Mr.Bacchan on KBC for promotions/events,Shooting in Banaras,The experience of working with Pratyusha & the whole cast was in totality a great learning experience! Ek baat batao. Why is dhara overreacting when Anita calls suman "ma"?She thinks if suman orders , gombi will ditch her and marry Anita?🤣 n she will have to leave quietly ? What a waste of 10 yrs !

Dhara has no shame in hiding something so obvious, which suman will find out eventually ..kaunsa Mt everest hil jayega if she tells the truth? Or is she thinking if one of them tells her , she will have to leave , and if suman knows , she will leave ? 🤣 kya fizool drama hai. Bas sach na bolo , keep piling up the #of episodes.

N why is rishita so exited to tell the truth ? She will be the one to punished 🤣I hope that jhadoo pocha in the promo is her punishment.

I wanted to watch this version only because the OG is a family story where every couple is given equal importance, their character growth, relationship dynamics, how they come together as a family to solve issues and for all the positivity including the love story of KM and marital adjustments of JM and respectable relationship of DM. The best part of OG is there is no saas-bahu story, no vamps, no 3rd party. The only constant villain is Janardhan, they all know how to tackle him and have full support of Meena.

But this version has deviated from all of that and sometimes giving us head ache inducing tracks making us rant/sulk and eventually we become trolls. After many years, am back to watching something on ITV, will try to stick around as much as possible with the hope they will turn things around and make it a family story instead of saas-bahu/abla naari Dhara story. The other thing I would like to appreciate is the cast. They are all doing a tremendous job sans 1 person, as I told earlier being very patient with him, even making note of all his expressions too😆. If the writers have great material, this stellar cast can take the show to great heights😃 I want the writers to be realistic, be attuned current situations and write the track accordingly.
I have lot of patience, less expectations, let me see how far they push me😆

Dhara will be taught a lesson for sure, rightly so, she deserves it.

But I am skeptical about Rishita’s after seeing the promo because only her side of the story is coming out but not what she did, that is she berated/insulted/disrespected every member of the family except Mera Dev😕. Sometimes promos can be misleading but going to wait and watch to see what the makers have in store for us.
