Kareena was NOT a flower pot role in Talaash, in fact many thought she stole the show. Kareena was also integral in Jab We Met, Ki and Ka, and Veere Di Wedding as well as Good Newwz. Talaash wasn't a Big Hit. It wasn't even a clean Hit and had Aamir Khan in it.

She had pivotal roles in Jab We Met and Veere Di Wedding but again they were not big Hits.

Ki and Ka wasn't a clean Hit, and Arjun Kapoor was doing fine when this film came out. His previous film Tevar opened to 6 Crores while this film opened to 7 Crores. While Kareena's previous project before this without a Superstar Gori Tere Pyar Mein opened to 2 Crores.

I'm giving her credit for the success of Veere Di Wedding, Jab We Met and Ki & Ka. It's just that these films are not big Hits compared to Raja Hindustani, Hum Saath Saath Hain or Biwi No 1.

Fyi, Kareena's heroine opened to 7 crores as well. So if Arjun is credible due to an opening so is she.

Dude a hit is a hit. What is this big hit small hit.

When it comes to Kareena, suddenly every success comes with an excuse. Wasn't superhit; was working with big actor, was a flowerpot, oh wasn't coz of her, it was coz of script. Excuses. Don't hear such a deep analysis crediting films and scripts for other actresses.

She gave hits with smaller actors, she gave hits with bigger actors, she gave hits with an ALL WOMEN cast she SHE was the lead , she gave hits with an actor who currently had a dead career. She has the longest career out of any actress, non stop, no breaks. That's a fact.

And you're crediting karisma for Raja Hindustani, HSSH, BiWI number 1? With Salman, Aamir, and a miltistarrer. But won't credit Kareena a film with even Arjun Kapoor?

Yes Karishma had more successful career . Just because that time there was no papz , no Viral, no Insta to stay in the news even without any movie or with flops doesn’t mean Karishma was less successful

her movies with Govinda or David Dhawan = kareena’s whole career

Yes, Heroine was a 7 crores opening. The film sucked and tanked after but it was still a big opening for women oriented films. I never see this used in favor of Kareena.

You're saying you're not only making excuses for Kareena? So all her successes that are "solo" is because of good films, scripts and word of mouth?
You want me to name an actress for you to do in depth analysis? How about Karisma who you very easily credited BiWI Number 1, Raja Hindustani, coz apparently Aamir and Salman were not big back then. Nope I never said those films sustained only because of Karisma, but those films were still bigger Hits than Kareena's biggest Hits.

Check my previous comment. I didn't call Karisma a crowd puller either. Yes, Kareena's all solo Hits are because of good films, scripts and word of mouth, and so does Karisma.

Karisma is more successful than Kareena because she enjoyed more popularity during her peak because of bigger Hits. At least that's how I measure success.

And Kareena's hits are way more well known than Karisma's. Since neither is a crowd puller according to you, doesn't matter who starred with them.
