Understandable, but here's an interesting perspective. I don't know if this scene was in the original (don't think I came across it), but in the Telugu version, Raavi had a tattoo of Dev's initials. Raavi's friend accidentally blurts this factoid out because she assumes Raavi married Dev (never came to the wedding). Rishita overhears this and is none too pleased. Shiva also overhears this right before he leaves to go to the shop.

Raavi is scared the tattoo will cause a misunderstanding, and quite some heavy scenes occurred. However, when Shiva and Raavi sat down to talk, Shiva told her that it was okay if Raavi liked someone before marriage. What mattered most was whether Raavi liked Shiva after marriage, and Shiva knew with confidence that Dev was no longer in Raavi's mind.

I thought it was an interesting way for them to handle the concept of FL likes another guy before marriage.

Nope, this is not something they would explore in Hindi. The FL/ML usually acknowledge that their previous relationship didn't mean anything in the scope of emotions and all. The other guys she likes isn't what she imagined him to be. I can see that happening here with Dev. Rishita is crazy and her antics might force Raavi to realize how lucky she was that she dodged the bullet!!

I think you had mentioned that this was more mellowed and out and light-hearted. A friend said the same thing that.

However, since it is Hindi, our execution and the story up to an extent would be different. I would also most likely have Raavi standing up for Shiva when least expected and say things that give her feelings away.

I finished the episode, finally. I loved it, it was emotional and so good!

The way Gaumbi gave Raavi so much respect, I don't think even Dhara saw that coming. The look of admiration from Shiva to Raavi for making an effort towards his family was unexpected for me (MY HEART EXPLODED! 😭). Then Gaumbi feeding all his children, our Tom and Jerry fighting cutely over that too (I hope that never stops)...it was perfect! I don't mind Rishita not wanting to eat, but she could've said it in a nicer manner. Rishita's not wrong in some of these cases, but she comes across wrong due to how she says things. Also you can't be bitter if you choose not to be included in these moments.

I found Raavi scolding Krish so cute, she was being his bhabi. At the same time I found Shiva sticking up for Krish cute too, he was being his bro! ❤ I hope Krish and Raavi have a similar relationship to what Dhara and Shiva have. And I actually wonder if Shiva ever craves something like that from Dev? I'm glad Dev can feel Gaumbi's sadness even if can't with others. Gaumbi is the most patient person ever, his advice in this episode has been spot on.

Coming onto that Yaadon ki bharat part...my god that just melted my heart even more. That was some emotional scene 😭. They need to put a trigger warning on that part!

Mami is on her way! I need some hilarious doses of mami and Shiva! 😂

As much as I don't agree with Rishita in most cases, I don't think Dev is going about it the right way. He seems a little out of his depth. I mean one minute he's shouting, the next he's trying to be sweet. He must have known how she grew up or atleast explained his family to her while they were dating? And I'm not so sure mentioning Raavi would do him any favours, you don't want it turn into 'why can't you be more like Raavi?' It seems Rishita has gone back to not liking Raavi, probably due to jealousy. I'd love to see how their relationship progresses.

I'm so glad Raavi was laughing, even if it's at Shiva's expense 😂...the girl has been so miserable lately, it was grating on me a little, she's due some sort of laughter. Since it felt like a joke scene I didn't mind. But damn Shiva's thinking back to their childhood! I love these parallels! I'd love it if we see more flashbacks into their childhood. I even wouldn't mind if the child actors shot some of these! I was hoping Raavi fell on Shiva the second time round but it's okay 😂.

@bold, I agree, that was definitely not. the right step, comparing your wife to the girl that you were initially supposed to get married too is not going to sit well with Rishita, and even though I'm not a big fan of her right now, I would understand her anger at that statement.

I realised more than the Rishita character it’s the actress who is more irritating, her dialogue delivery is off..Rishita makes sense sometimes and I think her character was suppose to show the the contrast and struggle between old family ways vs new age thought process...I am not able to comprehend if it’s the issue with the writing or the actress but she comes across as bratty with no depth to her character at all. The actress acting is also not helping.
