Shiny as Dhara

I'm not commenting on Shiny as an actress. I feel she is a wonderful actress as proved in her previous shows but I think she looks a little young to play Dhara.

She doesn't look like a motherly figure to the trio but at most an elder sister. Also, all the DILs of the Pandya family looks the same age now. An older actress would have better suited for the role.

Yet again I'll say these are my personal opinions and I don't mean to offend anyone

Thiisss!! This has been my biggest beef till date and all I could only do is just ignore. She is beautiful, even has a mature and kind face fit for the type of character that Dhara is. But she is certainly too young to play a mother-like figure to at least Dev and Shiva! More than anything, I actually find it humorous when she says 'mere bachche' to Dev and Shiva 😆🤪

Dhara is 28 and Dev- Shiva are like 22/21. They share an age gap of just 6-7 years according to the character , so she is supposed to look like that . The motto here seems to highlight the fact that despite herself being so young and having such small age gap she still nurtured them as her kids.

Exactly! She could have been easily paired up with either of the men and it would have looked normal and romantic.

Kinshuk looks age appropriate for Gautam but Shiny looks way to young

So Dhara was 18 when she got married? Was this fact mentioned in the show?

19. So she should be 29 now.

On her wedding day, she said she's 19 and Gaumbi is 22. And I was like you definitely don't look like that age. Didn't know it was going for a leap. So she looks age appropriate for her character.

well in real life she's 31 years old and in the show she's supposed to be 28/29 so I guess kudos to her for looking a lot younger than she actually is 😆

it's rather dev and shiva I think that look too old because they're probs supposed to be around 20/21 in the show

Yep I think that’s what it is. I watched 1-2 episodes before the leap and the kids looked quite young so in 10 years they should be in their early 20’s but Dev & Shiva look like they are in their mid to late twenties. If Dhara is 28/29 then Shiny looks the part in my opinion.

I love Shiny as Dhara!! Shows a young woman having to look after boys just 5 -8 years younger than her but she had to take on the role of a mother!

They already have a mom, Dhara is just their Bhabhi who is also like a mom.

She's perfect in my opinion. If Suman wasn't there than an older actress would have worked but this is great.
