I cried AGAIN while reading the post.

I don't think I have ever felt so attached to such fictional characters before.

KV and Deba have breathed life into Shaurya and Anokhi and made them so real for us.

Deba matched KV in her performance. She was brilliant !!

Coming to your post,

I think you have cleared few doubts I had as well.

I think it is one of the few times when we know that the ML and FL , both their reactions are justified and cry for both of them..

Anokhi's dignified heartbreak commands my respect. She dealt with the whole humiliation so maturely. When I was feeling bad for Shaurya, I did get irritated for a nanosecond that girl, just listen to him once.

But then when I thought about it, all she expected from him was acknowledgement and respect in public. But his silence killed her from inside. She is still holding a lot of pain and needs to breakdown for her sanity. Her run from th hotel, it was shot SO BEAUTIFULLY. Her numbness , her pain , Deba take a BOW.

Shaurya, what you said is absolutely on point, he lost 2 relationships today, the facade of BM and Anokhi. However, what is to be seen is, whether BM will be able to manipulate him when he down and vulnerable (injured) against Anokhi or again restore his trust in her ?

What do you think? For Shaurya when ill, is pretty vulnerable and his abandonment issues that may resurface ! I am not too good at reading him yet. I think because I have not seen the old episodes properly. Had just rushed through them and started from the Riots track.

I know this angst will make them realise the depth of their feelings for each other and also the importance the other holds in their life. However, the softie in me cannot take tooo many episodes like today's episode ( even though it was BRILLIANT ) It was a tear jerker for sure.

PS : Please tag me in all your analyses ;) , I simply adore them and would love to get more insight on the characters.

Bang on what a beautiful post. Truly said anokhi and shaurya two sides of same coin both are right in their places. Felt bad for both but more for shaurya as he has no one who could understand and support him. This week going to be full on drama so excited 😃

First of all let me thank you for posting such a beautiful take on today's episode! You pretty much sumed up what I have felt today. Great writing! 🤗

I was contemplating whether to watch the episode or not as my mood was already off with the precap. The first thing I do every morning right after I wake up is watch SAAKK but today I was in a dilemma whether to watch or not. I checked Insta n saw a clip of Anokhi running away from the scenario and another clip where Ahir stops Shaurya. One was heartbreaking to watch while another one pissed me off as I have never liked Ahir! My mood instantly dropped.

I only watched the episode after seeing a meme where Shaurya runs away from BM. And I'm glad I did! This is the best SAAKK episode so far! The emotions portrayed by KV and Deba, omg! They guys nailed it!

The way Anokhi handled herself deserved appreciation! If I was in such a place I would have either lashed out or would be a crying mess. But she handled herself gracefully and held her head high! Amazing characterization! I was in awe of Deba in the way she is portraying Anokhi. The way she handled Shaurya, facing him instead of hiding behind people, stepping back when he raised his hand to hold her, telling him off while sticking to her character, she is by far one of the best FL I have seen in ITV. She isn't mahaan type. She is not a perfect goody shoes. She is raw and real and that adds beauty to her character. I know she's hurt but she'll bounce back stronger. She'll fight for her love if she's convinced that he feels the same. She's fierce and bold. She doesn't let people walk over her. She doesn't let people manipulate her. She won't give up without a fight. She's Anokhi 🔥

Now coming to Shaurya, I read a post titled did anyone felt sorry for Shaurya today and let me tell you, that has been my mind voice for days! Shaurya's the most bashed character in SAAKK. He was the least appreciated too. I connected with Shaurya's character more than Anokhi's because I had problems with my parents in childhood and I know how childhood trauma shapes a person. Bechara Shaurya's still not out of it. He is constantly reminded of his trauma by the people who raised him. He was constantly reminded of the ehsaan they did on him and let me tell you, it's very tough for Shaurya to break out of this, atleast completely.

More than critically analysing Shaurya's character I tried to empathise with him. If I were in his shoes, would I be able to handle things like him? The Shaurya who hurted his mother with cruel words is the same Shaurya who broke down on having a single glance at his mother while waiting outside Anokhi's hospital room. Shaurya was left alone by his parents when he was 4. He wouldn't have grown to hate Astha much hadn't Devi manipulated him. He wouldn't have felt abandoned hadn't his father been absent in his life. He was raised by a manipulative woman who was obsessed with him and didn't leave a chance to keep reminding him the sacrifices she made for him.

I was surprised when Shaurya talked about his feelings to Badi maa because like everyone else I thought she'll play with him, manipulate him by showing her fake mamta and he won't speak up for himself and succumb to her manipulation. But Shaurya Sabherwal is sure of what he wants and he didn't want to back off from his shot of true love. The way he ran away from BM... he was desperate for an escape, to look for his Anokhi and mend things with her. He wasn't in his proper mind and he didn't want to lash out at the woman who raised him. The way his eyes moisten when he talked to BM... the dialogues were on point. He should have added that love is finding happiness in your loved one's happiness and if what Devi claims to be true that she loves Shaurya then she should be happy that Shaurya's with Anokhi as Anokhi's his happiness!

Shaurya and Anokhi's love would be tested in coming days. I don't want them to follow Mohor's track. I don't want Shaurya's family to manipulate Anokhi into staying away from Shaurya. I want Shaan and Astha to step in as his parents. I want them to stand by his side and urge him to follow his heart and not make the same mistake they did.

More than Anokhi, I'm doing Astha mam jaap these days! I badly want Astha back. She's the one who can deal with Devi now. She has to fight for her son. She's what Anokhi needs right now, not Babli or Reema or Kanchan and Shaurya needs Shaan too!

Excited to know what happens next ❤️

Be it for good or bad she is his.. branded forever...

Her heart body and soul belongs to him. And he will turn heaven and earth to be with her.

Wow... the power of love.... he has felt it ,tasted and has got addicted to it..

For him Anokhi is his universe and no one enters that space..be it the woman who claims to be his mother. If anyone can push him away it is Anokhi and Anokhi alone.. she has the power to make or break this man..

'She was running, don't know where. She does not know where her steps were taking her. All she knew that she had to get away from all this. Away from this pain.🥺

He wanted to go after her. Wanted to tell her that everything she thinking, is completely wrong, but couldn't at that time'🥺

The part i loved the most is, the way Shaurya stood for himself before DT. Well i didn't think he will go against her, after her numerous of manipulation and blackmailing...but SS prove me wrong and trust me i'm happy being proven worng...infact we all

But on the other hand, feeling really bad for Anokhi...she knows he loves her but all she was waiting for him to speak...but it never happened🥺 and now when he came after her, she didn't talk, which is absolutely right, because she didn't expect this, from whom, she started growing feeling towards😭

Beautifully written dear .The episode was equally good specially I was pleasantly surprised to see male lead who has some spine and female lead with such dignity and self respect.Looking forward to the future episodes if they maintain such character graph

The way Shaurya give back to devi it was worthy to watch. I love him the most when he said to devi me kisi aur se pyar karta hu I was waiting when he will say he loves anokhi alot more anything and more than anyone.

Anokhi is heartbroken💔 not because she doubts on him but he didn't take any stand for her on the stage.

Actually, I can totally relate to it! I was gonna totally skip the epi but I woke and couldn't stop myself from surfing twitter and I just knew I cannot miss this episode! This was by far the most dignified heartbreak scene I have seen! Most logical and relatable of all!

Truely! Anokhi is so fierce and self-assured that I am sure she will bounce back with more energy and she will stand with Shaurya as they fight the hurdles. 😊

I am sorry to hear about your issues. But, I agree. Very few people actually understand Shaurya. And I am fortunately one of them. I mean I literally wrote an entire character analysis on him ❤️ and I still feel that I could probably write more! Shaurya Sabherwal is a very finely carved masterpiece on ITV. He is literally 🔥 Sometimes I cant believe he is really an ITV character with sooo much clarity in life.

He actually does not hate her. There are many complains and accusations. There is a lot of anger... But no hatred. He actually craves for his mother. 🥺

Exactly. Shaurya had no confusions at all! All he knew was that Shagun is not what he wants. BM just ruined his plans, probably his life by taking an autonomous decision. And Anokhi was really hurt. As I said in the post.. I was quite surprised as well! I mean I though he will let it slide by (Bcz of my previous ITV experience 😔) But Shaurya is a true gem. When he says he does not beat around the bush, he seriously means it 👏

SAAKK is definitely not going the Mohor way! And I absolutely get when I see people comparing the two shows.. Cz that show delivered BS in the name of romance. I am very excited to see how ShaStha are going to hep these two idiots 😆

I really hope you have read my character analysis on Shaurya bcz I would love to have an elaborate discussion with you about this complicated man!!

This really was the best moment of the episode! Never have I ever seen an ML see right through the manipulations of their family and call them out! And this is one among the many things that makes Shaurya Sabarwal stand out!

Exactly! TBH, I was expecting a confrontation btwn them but I thought it would be after Anokhi tells him off! Imagine my surprise when Shaurya is ready to blow up on BM already! I mean, he was already restless but he had not qualms stating that BM had ruined that one happiness he found after years of pain.

This is an episode where neither of them can be called wrong, yes Shaurya could have spoken up and stood up for Anokhi especially because he has always been someone who values clarity but the way the makers have executed this scene without making it look like character inconsistency was brilliant, we all have moments where we are taken aback, where our mind goes numb trying to process what is happening? It took me a while to get over his silence but I believe he himself gave the answer while revealing to badi maa just what she had cost him with her actions!

Also we cannot forget the issue of her ehsaan on him! He does respect her too much to insult her publicly. He was definitely taken aback but there was thing point somewhere buried inside him.

"This was supposed to be a special day! I had so many plans! This is the happiest I had ever been but you couldn't see/understand it"

This moment was a reminder that it wasn't just Anokhi's special day, it was Shaurya's too! It wasn't just Anokhi's heart that broke today but Shaurya's too!

Yup, as I said as well. It was a special day for both Shaurya and Anokhi. And I feel equally ad for both of them.

And yes Anokhi is absolutely right in calling him out on his silence because she trusts that he loves her I don't think she doubts that anymore but her trust in his ability to stand for her! For them! Has definitely wavered and it is his responsibility to earn it back because he knows that her insecurities and reservations aren't without ground his family just proved it.

"Aapka sach aur meri jagah"

Initially I thought the sach was that he couldn't stand for her and that is what it probably is about but I also can't help but wonder if she is talking about his love for her when she says "aapka sach" because those were his words to her on the date night:

"mei sirf tumse pyaar karta hun aur yahi mera sach hai"

The truth that made her follow him to Goa!

No, I think if she even doubted his truth even a little, she would have called out on that as well. But there was no accusation at all, she has never blamed him for the mess. Even on the date night! She thought she was being delusional about him. One thing about Anokhi and Shaurya is that jo dil mei hai, woh zuban pe hai. They never let miscommunication happen btwn them. And if Anokhi felt that he lied about his feelings, she would have said so.

And yes Anokhi is the only person Shaurya has ever wanted for himself and he will never stop fighting for them no matter who he has to face, because she is his magnetic north and he will always find himself turning towards her! She is the one that provides him with a sense of belonging and keeps him tethered. His home.

His sense of belonging to her is so strong that he feels so lost the minute she moves away! Which is why her opinion of him matters to him the most she is the one who saw through his pain and acknowledged it even as a stranger or a mere student and that I think is the moment Shaurya Sabarwal's journey to the ground started!

"Beech hawa mein rehne wale zameen pe ek din aayega"

So true! Also reminds me of the symbolic moment in the lockup when he bowed down to free Anokhi's dress on this exact line of the song!
