Another wholesome episode. The BG score was truly perfect and even the editing was great. The lyrics matched the person so well. E.g. "jeet me in bhi har" on Rishita's face symbolizing the hurdles that lay ahead of her. She will probably be the least accepted person in that house and will have to work to win everyone's hearts vs Raavi already having everyone's barring one, the one of her husband's. The placement and choice of flashbacks was perfect- especially the one showing where Shiva tells Raavi he won't allow her to marry Dev.

I saw that symbolism with hand too. Except that I took that as what lays ahead in their romantic life. Shiva will be the first one to fall in love, but maybe Raavi will reject him/his steps towards their relationship, and as he tries to step back and giver her space, Raavi will take a step to unite with him.

And all actors and directors were fabulous. Loved the way every little nuance/emotions were shot. The helplessness and longing in Raavi's eyes as Rishita crosses her on their way to the alter, her inability to meet Shiva's eyes and bear his touch, the idea of being another man's wife when she dreamt of being someone else's, and wistful sadness seeing the man she loved getting married in the same mandap with someone else. It was all gut wrenching.

And it was just as well done for Shiva as well. It seemed like Raavi walking down the aisle was portrayed through Shiva's eyes. Because as he turns towards the bride we see her walking down the aisle with that yearning look reserved for Dev. The way he doesn't take his eyes off of Raavi during varmala exchange and sees how broken she is at each step of the marriage, all of it was captured well. There was importance in background "noises" too. E.g discussion of how "terrible" this marriage would be. It allowed insight into Shiva's mind that he's willing to block all the external noise to make this work. All of it was directed, executed, and captured very beautifully.

Can't wait to see what's in store for them as a man and wife! (Side note: that felt amazing to write). Cheers🥂. Shivi's journey as a couple has officially begun!

The bgm was perfect, and the song synced extremely well in certain shots, a few that I recall are "Pyar hai ya sazaa" as Raavi walks towards Shiva, "Kisi ki duniya chaahat mein barbaad hai" as the camera pans between Dev and Raavi, implying how her world is topsy turvy because of him and also her own aspirations, and then "Koi na sune sisakti ahon ko" as Shiva sighs to himself before the pheras - he's getting hitched to a girl he dislikes, she's standing next to him refusing to even look at him, people around him are talking about how bad a match he is. Sikes.

@Agree with that, the hand scene probably meant this too.

@Good observation, I hadn't thought of it that way. Now I'll watch it from a different perspective

You've described the nuances in the scenes very eloquently. About the noises, that was really getting to them, especially Shiva. The direction and cinematography are definitely praise-worthy, we wouldn't connect with all the characters so well or notice these nuances if the stellar acting wasn't complimented with proper production.

I honestly hope not but I do believe he is going to make mistakes.

It was so beautiful and perfect. And another one I remembered was "Kahi shaq hai kahi nafrat ki diwar hai" with camera focusing on ShiVi. I wish I knew how to download just that song sequence. It's one for the keeps!

You've described it very eloquently as well. The lyrics of the song are beautiful, and the more I read it with your interpretations, the more I want to go back and watch it.
