They should release it on OTT now. The rate at which Covid is going up, theatres can't be expected to be opened for another 6 months.

Even if it does manage to get released by then, it would be such a stale film, made 2 years ago. At least films like Radhe and 83 are lucky, the audience hasn't seen a glimpse of it yet.. but Sooryavanshi's trailer has only not been released once, but twice! So even audience knows it is old as the hills.

After night curfew, Thackery is planning for lockdown of theaters, pubs, restaurants, malls, etc.

closure already announced yesterday

They should have released it in Jan/Feb when Covid cases were less. Now it's again going to be couple of months before the restrictions go away.

Maybe Rohit feels that his film is iconic and it's a disservice to the film if it is released on OTT 😆

But on a serious note, they should release it on OTT since every film looks old if it gets delayed a lot.

Not surprising at all.

This is a high budget film. I doubt either Rohit or KJo want to release it on OTT. They need to get maximum possible revenue from it and that can only happen with a theatrical release.

Jab tak ye release hogi tab tak akshay 1500 movies release kar dega. Matlab 2-3 saal mein.

they could have taken risk and released on January 26 may be would have minted some money or flopped badly but now it will be stale
