That was a wonderful OS but so very sad. Had he said he couldn’t get engaged to his sister as he now realised he loved Geet, then her sister would have been heart broken. Perhaps she too fell in love with him completely. She may have sacrificed as that would have been the right thing to do but either way, hearts were going to be broken.

If only he realised his feelings earlier but we all make mistakes in life. Sometimes we let a good thing go thinking something better may come along. Us humans can be very fickle when it comes to feelings.

Even if he would have broken his engagement with Seher, it wouldn't have been easy for Geet to accept him because her sister was ready to marry him and accepting Maan after this would have created a havoc in their life as well as families because life altering decisions couldn't be taken lightly or in the heat of the moment.

True, if only he had realized it earlier but sometimes we don't understand the value of someone until they leave us .

Maan and Geet were college friends

and she fell in love with him but he did not love her then

years later he gets engaged to her sisiter and its then where he realizes

he too loves Geet

they both shared a beautiful blissful moment but then she realizes

she cannot do anything as he is engaged

and she runs away only to receive her death

leaving Maan without her love

both now suffered first Geet and now Maan

I agree with you fully! Geet would be in a dilemma and I think she would not want to hurt her sister and it would hurt the family too.

It's not easy to love someone. Love gives happiness as well as tears. If there is love there is pain too

Maan will regret the most for not accepting her love but thats destiny I guess. Both of them remain without true love.
