In this line Delhi means Malini & PD means Imlie. For Adi, these 2 women have been separate entities till now connected through him. They didn't have any direct relationship.

Whatever would have been Adi's decision regarding moving ahead with only Imlie as his partner after coming clean to everyone, these 2 women would be separated. They would not be in each others life anymore.

But now since they are half sisters, they are still going to be connected throughout life regardless of Adi.

If adhi flips i will say goodbye to IMLIE serial😭😭😭😫😫😫....i think adhi said the word SEPARATION thinking of imlie nly because somewhwere in his mind he knows how much imlie loves malini without knowing malini her sis and for malolinis sake she left him....in these 3 days also it was imlie who told adhi to live with malini happily...so if imlie comes to knw abt her sis she will completly go frm adhis life and there is a chance of removing marriage symbols for malini....i tjink adhi must have thought abt lose of fearing her...

Second possibility is if this dev- meethi -imlie relation and adhi- imlie relation becomes visible in delhi am sure that AC will blast a bomb on Ts and if adhini relation was known to SK he will surely kill evryone for imlie.....lets see....tomorrow.....

I hope this was it. This is the only plausible explanation in light of the reveal that no matter who he chooses the other one will forever remain connected caz of the blood relation caz otherwise it felt really wrong. It needed more clarity..but for now I am willing to run with this for my own sanity as am super mad at the way they made him say that in that confused manner bina clarifying the context.. it was too casually thrown in..tainting adi and adi imlie so badly

Yeah I get that his reasoning during the hug was that he expects to go back to Delhi but always remember Imlie but it never sounded as shady in that scene as it sounded today😆.....in the hug scene, you could palpably see that he expected he would leave his heart and soul behind in PD. Today he was making it sound like he would aaraam se divide his time between two worlds - PD and Delhi😆.

It was a random bit in all likelihood. We won't got clarity until he actually gets back to Delhi and whatever "normalcy" he thinks he's going to find😆.

I did not take it as that. I felt that till date he has kept these two world separate. PD does not know about Delhi, Delhi does not know about PD. The only people aware about the whole truth was Imlie and him.

Now with Dev connection and Imlie being his daughter, even if he wants he cannot keep the truth hidden for a long long time as they were planning to with their closure conversation. If Dev wants to give rights to Imlie and if Mitti agrees, then Imlie is going to be part of Malini family or Dev is going to be part of Imlie’s family. PD and Delhi had all become interconnected and even if he wants he cannot stop the truth about his great act of bigamy from coming out. It’s more complicated because due to the blood Imlie will always be part of his life and they can never be separate from each other as they were planning too.

AC also did enough damage regarding Adi-Imlie equation in T house today. Second time she has raised it - laying the foundation for T family suspicion on Adi Imlie affair - when Adi starts openly showing his haq over Imlie :) I have a feeling this is coming up fast. I thought they would play it slow - here it seems like the idea is already being aggressively sown in T family midst. This with all the Nishant and Rupi di coddling of MAlini does not bode well for Imlie post her return.

He has not clarified to himself or to Imlie what place Malini holds. That’s still pending. Also, he still does not understand how important she is for him and he will only get that once he is back in Delhi and realizes that Imlie is way more important than Malini.

So my reading of that hug was Aditya returning to believing in destiny. His whole may or may not be together line was indicative of that. Yes, it was a welcome and goodbye for then. But not forever. He flipped the two roles of the two women in his life to their rightful places that night and left it to fate to decide the right time for things to align once again.

He already knows how important Imlie is. He told her that. He knows he could not live in a house where she does not reside. Leaving her in PD is accepting and respecting Imlie’s decision. It is not his. He never wanted her to be apart from him.

Him realizing Malini’s place in his life does not need Imlie out of the house. He would never have come to PD otherwise. What he needs to realize is why Malini is wrong as a partner. Not why Imlie is right.

On a separate note, is AC mad? Adi is gone only for three days and on the second day he told Malini that, he will be delayed by a day .... phir bhi AC reached divorce... in her world, is the man not allowed to go out for work, then why send DEV. Also, tomm if Malini says to Aditya , leave your job because she needs him and if Adi refuses, will she get upset go to her mother house and cry. So, AC instead of explaining to her daughter about her idiotic actions, will come and demand Aditya has to leave his job because my daughter is sad else give a divorce ... what kind of stupid logic is this? Does she even know what she is saying and demanding and that too, only because of him not being there for three days.
