Adi flipping on his own will be really bad - ist a complete insult of everything that happened in PG.

Imli forcing him to accept the relationship while pulling herself behind and Adi not being able to handle the MAlini situation because of his realization plays in well - does it not. Eventually he cannot put up with the pretense any more.

Furthermore Adi will not flip by himself because he is shown to realize SK is the better person - why will he want to emulate Dev then? He will want to ensure Imli gets her rightful haq in this situation and be the better person. No ?

That is what I thought too after the hug scene. Adi did make it sound as though it is their last moments together.

Yeah I get that his reasoning during the hug was that he expects to go back to Delhi but always remember Imlie but it never sounded as shady in that scene as it sounded today😆.....in the hug scene, you could palpably see that he expected he would leave his heart and soul behind in PD. Today he was making it sound like he would aaraam se divide his time between two worlds - PD and Delhi😆.

It was a random bit in all likelihood. We won't got clarity until he actually gets back to Delhi and whatever "normalcy" he thinks he's going to find😆.

He also said when she was leaving him behind in the jungle that even though he has to leave her behind the next day - he is slowly coming to the understanding that he can never fully leave her behind..right before the goons get to her. The man is a mess of conflicting emotions!!

I don’t think a parallel is being drawn between Dev and Aditya. In fact, I think this is the beginning of contrasts. When Dev says to Meethi “ main ek zimmedari nibhane ke liye dusri nahi nibha paaya” . For Dev these are two responsibilities. Aditya views his relationship with Imlie as LOVE and his relationship with Malini as a responsibility - post hug. I think Aditya kashmakash mein hai but he is NOT spineless like Dev. He will come on the other side of this a better man than Dev.

The flip I was alluding to earlier is his whole I will captain two ships into oblivion without one finding about the other frame of mind. Not his feelings with respect to Imlie. That is a point of no return.

As for Imlie finding out, like how Aditya told his truth before he knew who she was, she should be able to get to her truth, that Aditya is her partner in the truest sense there is, without the burden of additional guilt. If she finds out Malini is related by blood, there is just no way that she allows it to happen however much Aditya wants it.

I think Aditya will emulate SK. He has never been a Dev. It is just that his first reaction to knowing the truth was off the cuff. It may all sort itself out tomorrow. Let’s see
