Shaurya, Shaan and Aastha - doomed from the beginning

The more I think about it, the more I feel that this trio was bound to fall apart because of the polar opposite personalities of Aastha and Shaan and the power of the Sabharwals.

Aastha is not the ones to take insults and she always raises her voice against injustice (barring the Raja case ). Sabharwals don't give an iota of respect to their bahus and that would be unacceptable to Aastha. Had she stayed back, their would be daily conflicts in the family because of Aastha's rebellious nature. Shaan would roll from one side to another like a "bin pendi ka lota". Shaurya would witness that every day and suffer from emotional trauma. I have seen how harmful the quarrels between parents can be for children. Living with the Sabharwals would eventually break Aastha's morale and she might have either lost her sanity or be pushed to the brink of suicide.

Had she fought for Shaurya, she had a 90 percent chance of losing, because winning the case would be an ego issue for the Sabharwals and they would leave no stone unturned to get a verdict in their favour. Both Aastha and Shaan would be subjected to vicious character assasination. Shaurya would be asked all sorts of questions in court and he would be asked to choose between his parents. No matter whose side the verdict went, Shaurya would still resent his parents for playing a tug of war with him at the centre.

If despite all this, Aastha managed to win and take Shaurya along, the Sabharwals would keep trying to get him back by giving him expensive gifts behind her back, or making him see how much he was missing out on because of not being with them. Not to mention the bullying that he would face in school or in neighborhood for being the child of a woman who separated from her husband. In our country, even now the woman is always blamed in the event of a divorce. Yes, he would get Aastha's upbringing but I doubt she would be able to give much of her time to him. A little Shaurya would always wonder why his mother could not stay with her father like everyone else's parents because that is the norm in our society. Maybe when he grew older he might understand but somewhere he would blame his mother still. And would hate his father for being spineless.

If both of them moved out, the Sabharwals would not let them live in peace and keep on creating problems for them. They let Aastha go because Shaan and Shaurya were still with them, but had all the three gone, they would not give in easily. Still this might be the best option for them and this is what Shaurya and Anokhi would probably do but their road is not going to be smooth, courtesy the Sabharwals.

Given that moving on without Astha around left Shaan miserable, it would have indeed been best idea to have all three of them move out.

Shaurya, at this point, has no clue as to how can a man be so crazy behind the woman to make his own life miserable living in past and memories - and that makes him hate Astha even more (in addition to feeling abandoned).

But given the scenario this family faced, isn't ShaKhi's journey on the same path? How is it going to be lot more different? The only possibility being that he is much stronger than Shaan, I am not sure if Shaan was always weak one or was he the stronger one too back when he married Astha?

I think Shaurya’s and Anokhi’s journey will be little different compared to Shaan and Astha.

Shaan and Astha didn’t know much what future held for them. Astha had given up everything for Shaan but then world changed for them. Astha is strong but Shaan was weak so Astha was alone to fight the battle.

Here Shaurya and Anokhi will know because Anokhi has faced all the brunt beforehand. And she is a warrior. And Shaurya is equally strong. He can fight for him and his loved ones. He will fight for anokhi like Shaan never did. We saw that ydy- Shaan couldn’t fight for anokhi even though he knew all the logic. Shaurya came in and fought and zipped everyone.

It’s nothing but partnership- partners need to be equal.

(Offcourse I am referencing to future Shaurya. Current Shaurya doesn’t understand partnership)

Also, in past Devi had Shaurya hence had power to ruin people’s lives. In future Devi won’t have Shaurya. Hoping she goes into a shell and locks herself into a room only to never bother anyone in the family again 🤣

the best option still would have been that 3 of them moved out and lived with astha's parents, beacuse in that case even if they did have to fight sabherwals , they would be doing that as a team

but i think even shaurya won't be able to move out with anokhi , his relationship to tej and devi is based on graditutde , obligation and debt, he is loyal to them , and i feel shaurya's sense of loyalty is quite strong

Anokhi will have her husband's support. Something Aastha didn't have.

And Nikki is fierce. She won't back down.

@bold I hope that happens 🤣🤣

And her hubby should also do the same.

Alok is nothing without these two. There will he finally peace in sabherwals house

Yes, Shaan's undying love for the person who left them makes Shaurya even more mad at both Shaan and Aastha. I think that makes him overlook whatever (even if very little) Shaan has done for him and think about only the times when he was not there for him. Shaan is the only person from whom he never got any validation.

@bold: I am still not sure what Aastha saw in him. There must have been certainly some good qualities in him. Perhaps he was not the stronger one but he was the more caring one. He doesn't want to hurt anyone around him and in the process hurts everyone. Even now he hid from Shaurya that Devi blackmailed him into agreeing for the divorce. He has also some masochistic tendencies. Shaurya may have got through a lot of emotional trauma but somehow he will manage to move on with life. It is Shaan who has turned out to be the biggest loser in all. His past, present future everything is bleak unless he takes a stand. No one really cares for him. Yes, Shaurya loves him, but he too does not give much value to his father's needs.

Shaurya doesn't have the flaws Shaan has but he has different ones. He is possessive and insecure. So the problems faced by Shaurya and Anokhi are not only going to be external but internal conflicts too. Whereas Shaan and Aastha were mostly on the same page regarding everything. The only thing that ruined them is Shaan's extra loyalty to his bhai-bhabhi.

Yes, leaving together would have been the best option for Shaan and Aastha.

@bold: Let us see how he manages to strike a balance between love and loyalty.
