He missed her, yelled at Ac, rode his bike in the rain for her, bought her a red outfir for V day, apologized - reacted diff to Mun's accident than Imlis', saved her over Mun, took her to his room, sees her saving his life and craves her comfort at that time, watches her walk away, bus scene, total despair after that, going the day after to PG after lying, going to her home while questioning why its his marzi, staying at her home, saying he will eat from her plate, hiding the snake bite, wanting to do rigth by her for the exams under all odds, recalling the past, the sindoor miss - why are people feeling this all came out of left center....in reality do you need more than this for it to flash in your inward mind that 'Imli' is your pasand. People are so conditioned by ITV that takes multiple episodes for some understanding to dawn that when it happens organically they feel it came out of nowhere. Adi being Adi will of course now try to tell himself of all the reasons why he cannot let his mind accept the truth and go back to Mun - but after a part of him realizing the truth. Much more real story.

I loved how his alter ego danced...and how the real Adi wished he could go and join in the happy dance. The dance was warranted...Adi's acknowledging in some dimension the truth needed expression, and it was good they did not overdo.

Ok, I could not find your post in the other thread so thought of replying to this one for the alter ego part. 😊

Totally agree with you that the flow was there and we were heading towards Aditya's realization. It was clear from the day he landed in PD. The dialogues were also spot on and it was a good scene.

I guess some folks including me were questioning it, not because it come out of nowhere but because of the timing or maybe because it happened in PD. My reasoning is because it happened in PD, he will not be able to draw comparison with Malini nor get clarity on how wrong a partner Moon is for him with or without Imlie. With this realization and if we get acceptance, his feelings will always be clouded with guilt whereas I was looking for confusion when he goes back. Also, as the first doubt has crept in, even though he is still in denial, its become doubly important that he comes clean with Moon or tries to come clean with Moon because he being pulled two ways emotionally. It would now actually be "betrayal" as his alter ego said.

Now there is mess back home and he himself is emotionally shocked, its going to take immense inner strength for him to untangle all the these sensitive emotional relations. Aditya is short tempered and if they do not do it correctly and if he lashes out on Malini in the process, there will be backlash, hence it would be better if he stays in denial till he leaves. Let see what the makers have in store for us. 😊

I do feel the whole self reflection and his conflict was a lead back to his conversation with his father. He was told to look with and find the truth he ran because he felt conflict. He may take this as an answer and move forward as his parents have said he is not at peace until she knows of the problem. Imlie we know shall return how and when we are to see. The college track and his conflict will run parallel I feel. We will see them try and moving forays and yet being drawn back to each other. How when and why we are yet to see.

His promise at home was always to return and better son and husband. Whom husband the cvs never mentioned and son once again implies he will live according to the needs of his family and not his own. Once again his battle will not end in pd but will move with him till he in the end accepts that he wants more for himself.

He will try his utmost to be the husband that he thinks Malini wants. But how can he be her husband when he is not what she wants. And in the process he will also realize that Malini is not what he wants either. Yes, this is obviously not going to end in PD

Will we see Imlie dance for Shiv Rathri - is that a thing to celebrate? I wonder how the actual scene of separation will play out. Dev's entry may dilute the scenes

Jealousy is definitely another facet that Aditya needs to learn about. But is Prakash going to be the first step in that I am not too sure. With his internal struggles, I do not know if Aditya will look beyond returning in the next episode. I think jealousy will come in Delhi maybe once the college track starts?

I do not think we will get acceptance. He probably stays back for the pooja thinking uske ehsaan toh chuka loon. The phase before acceptance is going to be denial. And that is also because he needs to see with his own eyes why Malini is not suited for him. And for that to happen, he needs to come out of PD by saying this was it - my work here is done. He will come to Delhi and go through the motions, attempt at keeping everything together but Imlie is always going to be his subtext. And destiny will also throw them back together soon - maybe BK falls ill or something and asks for her to be brought back. Once she is back under the same roof, the ulta seekh is going to start. Until now he kept telling Imlie to learn from Malini, it will now all be the inverse. How does this man hold himself back then, especially in the light of how Malini is just not who he thought she was.

I just said that in the other post that the next track is about acceptance. I also think he is going to leave PD with denial but now the door has opened up for him to see that things are not as he thought it was with Malini.... I think its important and he needs that for just his own sanity and clarity.😆 Let see what the next 24 hours in PD bring us. We might get AC explosion too with Adi AWOL for the party and Malini in "sadma" phase

Agree, Imlie needs to be back at T's for the story to move forward. Let see how they get her there.

I wish I had read this before responding to your post in the other thread. It gives me better clarity of where you are coming from.

You are saying being convicted of his affection for Imlie is one thing - but he needs time to invalidate his prior feelings for Malini as well. I get it now. I was all about - you know Imli brings out intense feelings in you - while the other does not even cross your mind for 2 days in spite of having reason to be worried about her reaction. In my mind it was a no brainer - but to your point. I guess Adi owes Malini - some time - and reflection before he accepts his feelings for Imlie. Got it!!!

I'm most interested in seeing Adi Imlie farewell scene. I think they will dilute it with Dev's appearance - but lets see. They will be contemplating not seeing each other for a very long time - intereting to see how the CVs play this out
