ShaKhi - Should we root for them? - Page 3

You articulated my confusion so well. I kept on thinking if this were my life, would I forgive or root for a pair like this but IDK.

They are both toxic in their own ways and I don’t expect them to work on themselves before getting together cause this is ITV.

I personally believe that no women should ever be with a man that will judge her character by no means. Shaurya has a lot of changing to do, especially with the way he thinks and how he perceives women in general. There is so much that he needs to learn and he regretful for.

But do i root for both of them, yes i do. I don't believe a man changes overnight. But when they find the right person they do change. So i think Anokhi will be that person for him. She will be the one that helps him through his insecurities. I think her love will show him the love he's been deprived of for years. It's going to bring the best out of him. the way he is is toxic, but you can get rid of that too, it's just a long journey. and it is "Shaurya aur Anokhi ki kahani.."

Hopefully, in SAAKK , they will understand that the audience will not tolerate pathetic behaviour by ML just because he is insecure. That behaviour is emotional abuse of sorts.

See.. It's like this. I'm not trynna justify Shaurya because I'm not stupid 🤣 But he is the way he is because of the spoon fed mind set he has right? 'Aurat ghar sambhalna chahiye' & to fulfil her needs, physically, emotionally or mentally she needs a man. Be it household work or financial stability. This is his choti soch in other words right? This is the barrier that needs to be brought down but being quite the egoistic guy he is (Which he is rarely), Shaurya will have to go across hardships as in cuss words mayhaps or Anokhi's bitter sweet taunting.

He deserves all of it. But where I agree with you is whom your heart desires is, at the end with whom you wanna spend the rest of your life. The opposites attract theory is much applicable. Shaurya is an a** (Offensive yes, I don't regret saying this either 😈) & he deserves silent treatment be it Anokhi or Aastha because the dude has this idgaf tone in his voice which very much carefree inclining towards negativity. Its more like more than how a normal person feels, Shaurya takes way too long of time to realize whether he has made a mistake & must he repent for it.

People learn from their mistakes & Anokhi shouldn't be forgiving Shaurya out of the blue real soon because she has done nothing wrong. So what if she talks to Ahir or any other boy? A colleague maybe? Why does it matter to Shaurya? This is where he should be doing the practical maths & get the answer. What his heart wants. Economics prof right? He should be having the brain! & why I mentioned the words practical maths is because he doesn't give a damn about the logical theories around him 🤪

So yes, if this was real life an insult like that cannot be excused or forgiven but when the makers will do the necessary inputs & make Shaurya understand his grave mistake, that is when we'll see how he wants to change as a better prof, a better human being. Then we can say we will ship them.

P.s - we've seen many toxic male leads on ITV & mostly all of them are ek number ke trash bins. So lets just hope Shaurya's character doesn't turn that ugly 🤣

Unfortunately, in real life, too many women take this behavior. They learn to "deal with it"

I have friends who take toxic shit from their husbands and provide the reason to why they take it (i.e. bc he is nice x,y,z way, he has an issue understanding this, he is getting better, this is how men are - you get x you have to compromise y). It is really sad.

I would never ever want a woman to be with such a man who doesn't respect her at all. Shaurya doesn't respect Anokhi, he even said it "tumhe genuine respect nahi milegi"

So why would anyone want to be with someone who doesn't respect them? I have always had this principal/moral/ethics that I abide by, whatever the relationship be - whether boss-employee, children-parents, spouses, friendships - Love is not enough. Respect ke bina love nahi ho sakta. So if someone says they love you but don't respect you, that is not love. Attachment? Yes, maybe.

Hence, woh saath hi kya jisme respect na ho. Woh shuruat hi kya, jaha maryada aur izat na ho. In real life, if Anokhi was my friend I would advice her to stay 100 million ft away from Shaurya. I do see that he has potential but until we see that potential and change - stay away from him.

For the time being, I can't ship them or neither would i like any woman or man for that matter to be in a relationship where they aren't respected.

For the sake of the show, i'd like to see Shaurya apologize and not repeat this mistake again. If he does and continues to, I'd have to think abt my energy and attention to this show. I'd like to watch the passionate love story and promise of a girl fulfilling her dreams I was promised.

Phir, toh wohi baat hogayi that just bc viewers are viewing the show and for trps, you show crap. That also shows disrespect to viewers emotions. If they disrespect the viewers, woh show bhi chod dena chaiye.
