Uorfi Javed has often been vocal about her personal life and struggles, using social media as a space to speak directly to her followers. Known for her bold fashion choices and unapologetic personality, the actress has repeatedly addressed issues related to mental health, body image and public scrutiny. This time, she used her platform to open up about a phase of severe physical and emotional distress, offering a candid account of what she went through and how she slowly began to recover.
In a series of Instagram stories, Uorfi revealed that she faced serious weight related issues last year. Sharing an old image, she wrote, "This was my weight last year, I was so sick and depressed (l'm always depressed ) But weight training really really helped me, I was extremely skinny but my face was always swollen. I hardly used to eat. One meal a day no carbs! I was extremely moody, angry, irritated always." Through her words, she highlighted how extreme food restriction and emotional stress had a visible impact on her body and mood. She also pointed out that despite being very thin, her face appeared unusually swollen, which added to her discomfort and confusion.

In another story, the actress addressed the misconceptions people had about her appearance. She wrote, "My waist was 23 (can you believe it) but my face was so so swollen, everyone started saying | had misplaced fillers - novo !! Because I didn't eat my allergies just grew, even inflammation in my body. My sinus was always blocked and bad lymphatic drainage made my face double the size of my body." Uorfi explained that her health issues were often misunderstood as cosmetic problems, while the real cause was inflammation and poor nutrition.

In the final update, Uorfi shared that although her condition has not completely disappeared, there has been improvement. She wrote, "My face still swells up now and then but I feel much much better. Weight lifting really helped me!"

Her posts reflected a shift towards healthier habits and strength training, which she credits for helping her feel better both physically and mentally. Through this reveal, Uorfi offered insight into the lesser seen consequences of unhealthy weight loss and neglecting overall well being.
