His conscience has perfectly guessed what he is. A stone that got drenched in the rain that was Imlie. From the very first moment she knocked him down, his porous being absorbed and then as time passed, clung on to the very vestiges of each drop of the downpour. How could he not? Such was Imlie’s impact on this man

Let adi slowly slowly experience the great feeling of "True love "what he never felt for Malini on those 7 years. Deep introspection before love declaration is much needed for the" true love" for Adi.

Very true. Only once his blinders are drawn out will he even be able to view the reality for what it is.

What a lovely episode - so in tune with the story and characterization to date but completely unexpected from an ITV perspective. I am so happy to see story telling finally be consistent and not fall prey to drag tactics. Adi was brilliant today!! Malini - what a disappointment.

Adi realization was so well done and so perfect...even the dance was so impromptu and not so choregraphed - it added so much to the mood

A fav line from today - you call Imli a zimmedari - but you want to forget all your zimmedari's and spend time here with her!

True. Very unexpected but very harmonious at the same time. When was the last time we saw this on TV? I for sure do not remember.

I still think he flips soon because self-reflection is one thing but acknowledging it and accepting it another and Aditya is not there yet. And the reason I say that is because as much as an Imlie oriented thought process was necessary so is a Malini oriented one. He needs some reflection to identify why they are not ok together even if they chose each other. But who knows with these makers. They may very well give that tomorrow.

Agree - but the flow was so justified...everything his alter ego said was spot on - the makers did show him missing Imlie at his home during the AC encounter and no introspection after that...and the way he has reacted since she left Imlie - has been nothing short of despairing. As such the truth at least coming to his as a viable option was fully justified. If he pushed the thought aside - that's fine too - but I'm rejoicing in the fact that they showed the thought flash through his mind. His credibility as a journalist would have been so damaging - if he could not at least acknowledge this possibility. Even Mun with much less info has become suspicious and if Adi did not even consider the possibility - its not believeable. They def also showed him twigging the Prakash Imlie equation. They put it there for a reason :)

The best part of the episode is the manner in which Adi first suspects the truth - simply brilliant and Adi nalied it - he was just superlative in his performance. These 2 give each other the space to shine as needed per story. Sumbul blended into the background today to showcase Adi's realization. Wow!

Yes. The thought that he would have blinders on even while returning from PD was hard to digest. No way he did what he did the past few days and not question why he did it even a bit.

GM and ST are such good finds. The way they complement each other is close to perfection.

It also led up nicely - did not come out of nowhere - we just kept discounting because of the usual ITV workflow.

He missed her, yelled at Ac, rode his bike in the rain for her, bought her a red outfir for V day, apologized - reacted diff to Mun's accident than Imlis', saved her over Mun, took her to his room, sees her saving his life and craves her comfort at that time, watches her walk away, bus scene, total despair after that, going the day after to PG after lying, going to her home while questioning why its his marzi, staying at her home, saying he will eat from her plate, hiding the snake bite, wanting to do rigth by her for the exams under all odds, recalling the past, the sindoor miss - why are people feeling this all came out of left center....in reality do you need more than this for it to flash in your inward mind that 'Imli' is your pasand. People are so conditioned by ITV that takes multiple episodes for some understanding to dawn that when it happens organically they feel it came out of nowhere. Adi being Adi will of course now try to tell himself of all the reasons why he cannot let his mind accept the truth and go back to Mun - but after a part of him realizing the truth. Much more real story.

I loved how his alter ego danced...and how the real Adi wished he could go and join in the happy dance. The dance was warranted...Adi's acknowledging in some dimension the truth needed expression, and it was good they did not overdo.

The great and mighty Aditya Kumar tripathi has fallen.....that to because of a simple girl......people say correctly that even the high and mighty mountain can come crashing down because of a rat.....imlie has shaken adi Ka full foundation and he is in for biggest truth to face.....but once he face that he will fight the whole world to keep imlie with him......because facts never change .....

I remembered ipkknd where NK told arnav that "ek ladki ne the great nanav singh raizada ko girva Diya"......

@bold - exactly. It has been evident for a while now to the audience. It should not feel abrupt since the arc has been bending towards it for a while now.

The freedom in Aditya’s alter ego is beautiful and saddening at the same time. What a path destiny has chosen for him to be able to be actually experience happiness.
