Sometimes I wish some stories give us a sad ending. Just so that the character realizes that actions can be forgiven but not forgotten. Things do not magically fix themselves after apology. They need time and efforts to repair the damage.

I so agree. That's what we see all the time. Characters forgive and forget so easily. Sometimes it makes me so angry. When trust is broken, how can you go back to normal so easily.
