In 1997, 15.1+is a big when TV was not in everyone's house. But Zee TV head then too said the show will not be there if there are no ratings. So it means it's not channel but viewers who affect content on TV. Viewers of recent times have bad taste so they give bad content. And the idiotic PHs of shows make it worse. People aay TRP aunties affect viewers but TRPs aunties watched these shows years back. People aay the content of today's shows is like 90s contents but 90s content were progressive like this show and many other shows. The article mentioned another show named Dard which had FL stuck between am older man and a young man. I found that this show was made in 1989 and came on DD National. So it came in 1989 so Star ki hawa definitely nahi lagi. Here is plot of the show.

Undoubtedly 90s shows were very modern and progressive. Today's television is regressive due to rating system, viewers choice and stupid ph. Otherwise in 90s every show had its own flavour. But as they say history repeat itself. Its time for 90s progressive ITV to come back. I know everyone keep blaming trp aunties for not watching the shows but i read in quora that they hates these shows the most and in a wait for whats going to happen next they fall in the trap of ph who are more interested money making then showing content. But in 90s despite having super high trps the shows were finite and thus people miss them more. In today's television dont even show intimate scenes between couple like before. Day by day television is getting more and more traditional which is just horribly ridiculous when it was suppose to become more modern.
