And yes, the leads will ofc feel that pressure most keenly. As with N5 where Vani were the only thing that sustained the show, IB was mostly afloat bc of Shivika. Those who are first on the call sheet will always feel that enormous sense of responsibility - you are literally responsible for hundreds of people's jobs.

That's probably why her removal from the show must have stung even more. To go from being one half of the reason people loved the show to being unceremoniously booted out bc the producer thought you weren't necessary for the TRPs to rise must have been a hell of a smarting. Which is why I'm gleeful in the fact that DIB barely last 3 months without SC 😆. She/Anika were the jaan of that show as far as I was concerned.

IB's condition wasn't as bad as N5 tbh, but still it aired on sitara so they defo had more pressure and tension regarding trp. Shivika was vani of the show and anika was the veeranshu of the show according to me!!

Oh for suuree, anika and chandu were the jaan of IB and the whole industry and viewers knew it except for i think gul🤦🏻‍♀️

IMO if gul would've kept chanduu after the leap and done off with nakkul na, show would've had miniscule chances of working out. Nothing wrong with nakkul, but the fact was and fact remains people connected with anika and chandu. She wss the relatablity factor, the soul of the show.

DIB was a mess. But then i never liked om and gauri's paring. To me it felt like they were trying to replicate shivika with that nok jhok and arrogance of om.

Chanduu never got her due for IB man. She deserved much more. But then it's ok ig...she learnt a lot and has grown.

Yes surbhi was very naughty and energitic.when we are watching the interview we never felt she is a celebrity.

Thatswhy we connected the starting episodes takkar ki annika. When she did haya we never felt that much energy cause its so calm going character. When it comes to annika she nailed it.

In the ib starting days she faced so much criticism and even nakul fans upset that she looks elder than NM and bodyshamed her. Even though she improved herself on physic and acting and she made fans crazy on shivika. It needs so much guts and self confidence.

She is handling this shit from ib days itself and now she is master in dealing whatever comes in her way

WORD on @bold! and I think Gul knew, but she didn't want to accept it. To me it always felt like she structured the show around SSO, and wanted it to be all about him/the OBros. Shivika becoming so popular, and Anika becoming the heart of the show was unintended on her part, I think. Maybe she resented that.

@red, she's certainly getting her due now! 🧿

💯 agreed. She's worked hard to get where she is today and IMO deserves a lot of credit for handling every negative situation with grace and dignity.

What i absolutely love is that unlike a lot of actors for whom handling these kinda situation with maturity and grace means IGNORING TROLLS, she doesn't do that. She gives it back. Not just this time since starting she's been savage in her replies to trolls.

Not that ignoring trolls is wrong, but sometimes actors do need to step up and tell them to back off. With that, one reply from chandu and the troll has limited her tweet views to her followers🤣

Ig as shinika said, handling trolls since IB days has taught her how to serve them the perfect words😆

Edit - unrelated but now i get why her fandom is soo protective of her. Not all fanfoms are like that. Before i also thought that her fd is a little too much but latest twitter drama has cleared my eyes...

LOL...can dish it out but can't take it...typical troll or as Huma calls them, toxic tonys 🤣 I guess it's a fine line...you don't want to be known as the actor who's always getting into social media arguments with "fans" or trolls, especially since the media picks up on everything she says so quickly...but sometimes things need to be said. She always has a positive spin on it as well, never lashes out or displays poor language/anger in her replies. Tehzeeb se har baat karti hain, whether it's responding to love or hate 👏 an unproblematic actor is a boon for any producer!

Yeah I guess her fandom being so protective makes sense although I still think some of them can sometimes be a bit much...but that's about the same as any standom I guess 😆

Alsooooo still on my strike but _@Arshi that video it was just party season. Kahaani party kiiiii kahaaani party ki 🤣

And thumbs up to the troll discussion- my two cents everyone I guess has their own way of dealing with it. I think ignoring it is fine as long as you know these TT’s are irrelevant and their opinions are even more irrelevant. Like I say you answer to one, then they recruit their fellow idiots to join their pawwriii 😆 Or you can shut one up in a funny way and it shuts them up good even makes the news 🤣 either way as look as mentally you know they’re irrelevant it’s all good in the hood 😎

Till now, she's had her wits about her and hasn't gone overboard with her replies to trolls so ig it's okay. But she'll have to be even more careful with her words now since she's coming into the limelight slowly and her fame is growing.

I think part of her being very unproblematic and drama free is because behind the facade of sc the star, she hasn't let fame get to her and is still the same woman..normal and sorted.

I'll deal with the "bit much" part of the fd, if i never have to see any death tweets again...not just for Chandu.. I'll deal with all FDs being this obsessed if trolls are taken care of tbh🙂

That tweet seriously shocked me arshi. Maybe I've just kept myself sheltered from the ugly side of social media. But anyone thinking of things like that and then posting it about. Made me mad and I don't even know her. Wonder how people vlose to her would've reacted.
