SLB was too obsessed with decking her up with tons of heavy make up & OTT jewellery which concealed her natural beauty. The best she was presented in a SLB movie was Guzzarish.
While Gowarikor chose to keep the make up simple & focused more on era appropriate clothes & jewelleries which enhanced her beauty.
