I myself come from an extended family and it's nothing less than a BLESSING. You always have people who care about you , love you, and most importantly stand by you even in the toughest times. Living in an extended family teaches you the values about sharing & adjustments, respecting & valuing other's perceptions / opinions just like your own. It teaches you forgiveness, togetherness & selfless love . And these aspects are so so so important in today's world !

I have always lived in a joint family and it was a blessing indeed. I was able to communicate with my grandparents. And, even now I live with my in-laws and I am able to leave my kids with my Mother in law and go out if I have some work or if I want to hang with my friends. She doesn't even shout for little things. Don't understand why the CVs are exaggerating so much.

Is it worth to maintain the joint family system even with such brutalities to your DIL, wife, SIL or any other member of the family? I keep hearing that "Bhavani kept the family together and kept the parampara going", in my head what family or parampara? What we see is a ring master and circus or in clear words a master and her slaves. Disgusting to say the least. What has this great parampara given them that they tout about it? I just can't fathom that anyone who claims to be as educated and high class as they claim live like this.

Also, my bigger problem is the men in the family are all in armed services of India. What the hell? This guy is meek to family members who abuse his wife, how the hell will he protect the citizens? I rather have no police than have IPS Virat protecting me. Ninad on the other hand is beyond disgusting. If the character had to be so filthy then the makers should have given him some dumb job rather than making him an ex-military. Imagine if these are our soldiers, what happens at our border? I think Ninad feels he is a soldier because he fights wars with his wife, son and daughter in law all the time on that sofa, he feels its as same as a war on the border with an enemy. To top it all he is Virat's ideal!! Pata nahi kya funkte hai ye saren!!

I rather live in a nuclear family than do all this drama again and make everyone's life measurable. Wouldn't it be better to live in separate houses and have love and respect for each other in your heart than live in this toxic environment?

I hope makers show Sai living in a hostel, making friends and learning to live her life independently. This kitchen politics should be left in 1700 its not for 2021 state topper. Also, she can meet Virat out of that chakram nivas and we can have SAirat scenes and witness their gradually developing bond.

What do yo guys think?????

ok i have to be honest here

you need to face reality that army officers and police mens abuse women as well as there power

at the end of the day they are mans

indian mans who think raping and abusing and controlling woman is their birth right

what they show in indian movies isnt true

army mans can be bad mans who abuse women

ITV and joint family are like fevicol ka mazboot jod😆 if there is no joint family then how will they gonna create drama!! It's very easy for them to manage hundreds of epi with joint family .

On a serious note it's not worthy at all. Mental peace is must for people to live healthy life and here its no where. One ring master controls whole family as per her own wishes is not at all good .

Totally agree, couldn't have said it better myself. I come from a joint family, but ours was very different than chakrams's! In fact I have seen my grandmother always siding with her DILs when they disagreed with her sons.

Joint families are a great support when there is unity. Yaha toh sirf politics chalu hai. Kaku being the eldest had no issues instigating and encouraging one bahu against another. Even she doesn't consider Sai as a bahu, she should have thought that ultimately Sai lives in CN and hence to keep the peace between family members should be her priority.

These people only care about their own worth in the family. TMK wants to rule them and dictate everyone's actions and emotions and her minions want to be in her good graces, desperately trying to please her. This is not family.
