Is joint family worth?

Is it worth to maintain the joint family system even with such brutalities to your DIL, wife, SIL or any other member of the family? I keep hearing that "Bhavani kept the family together and kept the parampara going", in my head what family or parampara? What we see is a ring master and circus or in clear words a master and her slaves. Disgusting to say the least. What has this great parampara given them that they tout about it? I just can't fathom that anyone who claims to be as educated and high class as they claim live like this.

Also, my bigger problem is the men in the family are all in armed services of India. What the hell? This guy is meek to family members who abuse his wife, how the hell will he protect the citizens? I rather have no police than have IPS Virat protecting me. Ninad on the other hand is beyond disgusting. If the character had to be so filthy then the makers should have given him some dumb job rather than making him an ex-military. Imagine if these are our soldiers, what happens at our border? I think Ninad feels he is a soldier because he fights wars with his wife, son and daughter in law all the time on that sofa, he feels its as same as a war on the border with an enemy. To top it all he is Virat's ideal!! Pata nahi kya funkte hai ye saren!!

I rather live in a nuclear family than do all this drama again and make everyone's life measurable. Wouldn't it be better to live in separate houses and have love and respect for each other in your heart than live in this toxic environment?

I hope makers show Sai living in a hostel, making friends and learning to live her life independently. This kitchen politics should be left in 1700 its not for 2021 state topper. Also, she can meet Virat out of that chakram nivas and we can have SAirat scenes and witness their gradually developing bond.

Its definitely not worth it if the family are like chavans.... Sai's biggest dream is to become a doctor.... I don't know how she's gonna survive 5 years in this environment..... Medical studies are no joke.... She needs a peaceful environment to study.... Sai should definitely think of moving to a hostel.... Otherwise her studies are gonna get affected badly.... Pehle din me hi itna drama... Aage pata nahi kya hoga.

Family is a bunch of humans bonded by blood and here they cannot even be called as humans as they lack the most vital trait of being a human know as "humanity"😡

@ bold Exactly ! And airing such things at a prime slot certainly seems like a practice to NORMALISE torturing your DIL with such regressive mindsets !! I myself come from an extended family and it's nothing less than a BLESSING. You always have people who care about you , love you, and most importantly stand by you even in the toughest times. Living in an extended family teaches you the values about sharing & adjustments, respecting & valuing other's perceptions / opinions just like your own. It teaches you forgiveness, togetherness & selfless love . And these aspects are so so so important in today's world !

Actually yeah.....there was just verbal abuse until today...its height of abuse and sadism today...I just hope the damage control that would be done tomorrow is worth tolerating the damage done today😵
