I really don't know whether people felt that as a problem because the resurrection of enemies are well justified in season 2 unlike season 3 & 4. The main reason for its downfall is, lack of trust between the couple which Rivanya had. This mistake was not repeated in Season 3, 4 and even 5.

S1 was d best, no doubt, in terms of every aspect but according to me S5 concept of Cheel and Naagin too was something new for the audience and it was well introduced by Dheeraj and Heena. Actually the makers show something around cheel but they didn't show the powers or cultures or folklores about them. (I mean like their weakness, strength, rituals etc.) We don't know anything about them. Even if they show, it is confusing or contradicted in next few episodes. Thus they failed at cheel part.

They didn't show cheels powerful. It's just a cheap stunt to attract viewers by using their bold personality. Only Gandak Stone has given some insight on Cheel.

What I feel is, Bani is shown dumb only regarding Jai's matter. It is justifiable because of 10000 years old love. Other than that, she is okay. Bani's character is just like Bela's one. Both are fierce, headstrong of their powers and dominate only their dear ones but helpless when some other attack them. (Bela's five head appears only to confront Vish and Vikrant)

If Balaji is planning for Season 6, they should bring some new writers. Only then, they could revive the franchise (that's almost impossible)

It would be watchable if the leads kill their enemies by using creative ideas like in season 1 and season despite using the rubber tongue

Season 1 is a masterpiece with an irreplaceable and iconic couple Rivanya and there is no doubt in that but we cannot blame Karan for taking up Naagin 2. It is the fault of makers to write his character weak. Rocky continuously dumping Shivangi for his badima is really bad. Also, VFX of Naagin 2 after 40-50 episodes are extremely poorer than previous. That's why, Naagin 2 was collapsed a bit in terms of storyline and audience.

I agree with you s1 was materpiece but It was ekta kapoor fault that she casted her personal friend karanvir bohra in naagin 2 as male lead instead of Arjun Bijlani opposite mouni plus she made lots of bad decisions from naagin 2 onwards like in casting of shivangi and screenplay of naagin 2 that started destruction of naagin series
