What does masculine or thinking like a man mean?

Also, just because someone identifies as something doesnt mean they actually are like that? For example, if I identify as a black woman, does that mean people should address me as a black woman? 😕

It's dressing like a man externally and having the feeling of being "male". They don't feel like a woman, that's it.

Race is different. It's a genealogical thing, you cannot "feel" that you're Black.

Race is physiological and so is sex and gender is based on sex so how can one identify, or rather ask other people to refer to them as something that they are not?

Like I totally understand people who are born transexual but how is Ellen page asking people to refer to her as a man if she is still a woman? Medically if she were to come to me as a patient, I would still consider her a female right?

The mannerisms of man and a woman are different. There is a difference in how men and women perceive things. Normally, a person born female would 'feel like a female, her thoughts and mannerisms would be in alignment with her assigned gender. Same goes for a man.

But in some cases, a person might be born male but would talk and have the body mannerisms of a female, or vice versa. Such people are transgenders. Those who feel that they are physically of one gender but their brain is wired like the opposite gender.

So I'm brown right but I grew up among white and black people. So can I identify as black or white and ask people to refer to me as black or white because just because I have their mannerisms?

If someone is actually born transexual/intersex or got surgery then I totally understand and all my love and respect to them ❤️ But what's with Ellen Page asking people to refer to her as him just because she doesnt identify as a woman anymore?

Race and gender are fundamentally different. You cannot claim yourself as a black woman because you have not lived their experiences. You don't really know what it is like to be a Black person, or White for that matter. Gender, however, comes from inside you. You 'feel' what it's like to be of the opposite gender.
