In the teasers you can hear Husn Hai Suhana and Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha...using blockbuster songs by so called "outdated" composers...way to go marketing team 😆

I doubt anyone from the OG gang is even involved in this, they never are.

Imagine it like this, they are taking someone's else's work, not involving them, not even acknowledging them or giving them due respect and pretending they did the mahaan kaam of making the song.

The OG film's jokes haven't aged the best but Govinda and Kader Khan were brilliant. The only thing that aged well were the songs...and you can see how the complanies treat the music director and lyricist

I think as much as hard work people do on films. Producers and to an extent directors own said work. So the right to rehash is theres alone.

Im waiting with baited breathe for this film and you cant ruin it for me 😆

Who said I am gonna try and stop you, watch it all you want.😆

And about ownership, you can read the Copyright Law:

As per Section 17 of the Act, the author or creator of the work is the first owner of copyright. An exception to this rule is that, the employer becomes the owner of copyright in circumstances where the employee creates a work in the course of and scope of employment.

So the directors and producer don't own jack. Not even the programmers who rehash the song own it. Its the songwriters (i.e the music directors and lyricists) and then the publisher(s). Songwriters aren't hired like other employees, they provide their work for use and are still free to work in other films.

If the OG team is involved, I would listen to the new versions on loop. But if not...I will be listening to the '95 version on loop. 😆

I stated the problem earlier 😆

I loved the original, I have seen it more than 25 times. 😆

But Govinda is, well...Govinda. It was an entertainer that could only be made once.

I just dislike the way the music department's being treated with every remake.

And this film and Hero No. 1 helped me through some very tough times both film and soundtrack...sorry if I sound to possessive or pissed 😆
