Ok, onwards to today's episodes. 40 and 41.

Epi 40 part 1 - Meenu's twisted ploy (tell us something new 🤔)

If i were watching it for the first time and didn't know what happened in future, I would have thought meenu's husband really made her chose between him and nanu and she chose nanu and he left.

Anyway, I didnt know kunal had that bracelet for mishti 😲 kuhu-kunal car ride 😔 this girl is so full of herself. and even if she liked him but kisi aur ke prospective groom pe aise khule-aam line kaun maarta hai 🤔

meenu-mishti convo in temple. It was going so well until they showed meenu's manipulative expressions. why? why couldnt they just let her be an understanding, progressive MIL? gosh, I would have rooted for her so much! anyhow, mish says if she knew her views earlier, she would have taken the job at Kunal's firm. btw, how did meenu know that mish interviewed at abir's NGO? 😕

Mishti's heart was so pure, no hard feelings for anyone. She said I am sure kuhu woh job bohot acchese karegi.

Meenu at the NGO was not a coincidence.

Laxman no 1 gave her the info that Abir is searching for his dad and is closing up on him..

So I guess Meenu went to Abir to discuss / spy on him..

And got the vital clue to be used against Mishti.

She must have noticed that Abir cared for Mishti as a friend at least..

And I'd she could keep him engaged with Mishti also in the NGO both her plans have a win-win situation.

The way Parul put ideas to Meenu was horrible.

Mishti is not a girl to back off and she'll defo try to get another job was pure mean..

Doing this to your own son even though we didn't know that at this point make her character very grey which was white washed later by Meenu s OTT arrogance..

Kunal trying to gift Mishti was cute and he had no problem in selection..may be uima Patel..😆

Anyways Kuhu dialogues were as usual pakau..

And she realising Kunal was the owner was 👏

Loved their chase scene in the basement too, when Mishti is trying to snatch the photos from him and he’s desperately trying to hide them. 😳
She even threatens to use her brown belt on him and the punchline was she was actually wearing a brown belt throughout the episode! 😆

How come Jugnu didn’t see the pics? Abir should have hidden them well instead of just shoving them in his drawer.

Abir promised to make a painting for centerpiece. Mishti already suspected his secrecy regarding the photos.

Inspite of Meenu’s manipulations and plotting she actually sent Mishti to work with Abir and I appreciate that! 😆

Loved that dialogue of hers today: jise jahan pahunchna hota hai wahan pahunch hi jata hai 😳👏

Kuhu is just a bratty narcissist right from the beginning. Meenu mocking and challenging her boasting was funny.

Mishbir had some really amazing scenes in this episode ❤️

Loved how mishti actually wore a brown belt 😆

Meenu has been indirectly pushing mishbir towards each other 🤗

Abir is finally making his famous painting of mishti he's also getting flashes of mishti from his dheere dheere dream sequence. This scene was shot so beautifully and Shaheer absolutely nailed it! The song was cherry on the top ❤️

Abir's shayari when he realized mishti is walking towards him..hayeee

Jo kehte hue katraate hai phool sare khil ke bhi

Jo baat na keh pate hai alfaaz sare mil ke bhi

Wo bolti tasveer hai

Meenu succeeded in turning kunal against mishti 😡

I felt bad when kunal didnt reply to her text or return her calls. that was plain rude and mannerless. yahi break up ho jana tha 😈

Anyhow, back to 'the painting'. more than it, i loved his reaction to it and him making it with closed eyes.

I haven’t watched 41 yet today but remember it like the back of my hand from rewatching it frequently ...specially that Abir painting scene

That’s probably his Best scene, the passion, the fervor, almost feverish concentration, he was like a possessed lover painting her from his mind’s eye, from her picture imprinted in his heart!

Amazing scene and these are the scenes that lift our show to a higher level, unmatched and unseen before. There’s a poetic quality in the scene not just because of the shayari but the whole concept of realization of his feelings through his painting! ❤️

I agree Manju, I probably would've lost interest now too, especially after kuhu and meenu's non-stop negativity

Isn't it an exhibition hall? They never showed this place again after this track so it mustn't be a part of abir's ngo

You've explained it perfectly 👏 it's because of these scenes, viewers ignore and forget about countless illogical scenes and fall in love with mishbir

kuhu-meenu-recruiter-at-red-pears' convo was so funny. I am seriously judging the recruiter now ya fir i wish aisa recruiter sabko mil jaye, anyone can get a job at MNC's then i am toh highly qualified for it

If i were watching in live time, I would have stopped watching the show at this point. so many turn offs' without any progression for the central characters

Mishti gets the basement(?) of their NGO ready for exhibition (I always thoguht it was in a banquet hall or something). And she asks jugnu bhaiyya to get some photographs from abir's room (that was kinda invading his privacy but anyhow), and we see him bringing 'those' photos including the bus top wala, its reapperence finally. but it took so long that it has lost its meaning in the story now.

True but it was a beautiful experience to watch RheSha and the whole cinematography and direction...

He was such a cute bridge between Mishbir..

May be he didn't realize the importance of that pics for Abir then...
