Did Sonakshi and Parineeti miss out on the chance

of a top star?

Sonakshi had blockbuster debut. She stood out in a top billing cast in Kalank. A lot was expected of Parineeti but like Sonakshi her career never took off. Was rejecting Piku, her biggest mistake?

Deepika is not better actress than those two.Her script sense is better than them.Her last 3 performances were panned by all.

Did they missed the boat or they never had it?

I like both Sonakshi and Parineeti, but they made bad choices even before the early hype around them could subside.

Deepika is an actress who is a complete package...cannot be compared to the above two. Exceptional looks, exceptional screen presence and good acting skills all combine to make an actress desirable.

Her last 3 performances were not bad...Chapaak was praised by all critics and those who bothered to watch it. The movie was a let-down but Deepika was very good in it. She was completely natural as Malti.

Ileana D' Cruz is the only one who could have given solid competition to Deepika if she wanted, but she doesn't seem like the overtly ambitious kind.

I don’t agree at all that they are better than Deepika (especially Parineeti, Shea not as beautiful or versatile)...

But yes they were both good and deserved better (especially Sonakshi)... their lack of success was partly due to bad choices, and partly due to being deliberately sidelined by certain people, and better chances being passed on to others...

Both are way better actresses than Deepika but they are ordinary looking compared to Deepika who is stunning.

Even if their script choices were correct, they could never have become a Deepika. At max they could have become a Taapsee or a Kangana, but never a Deepika.

Deepika is not a good actress but has a better screen presence than these two.

I don’t think Parineeti is a better actress than Deepika at all, but she is better than Alia, Shraddha, Ananya types...

And Sonakshi is around the same level as Deepika, maybe a little behind in some places, maybe a little ahead in others...

So no I don’t think either of them are way better than Deepika or anything tbh

They both didn't look like quintessential Bollywood heroine, and that's where they failed. Because even when the so called feminists expect all actresses to like like angels dropped from heaven with perfect hourglass figure, then what could you expect from the general audience.

Otherwise Pari was a better actress than Deepika, and Sonakshi too was a good actress along with being a very good dancer.

Just see how effortlessly she matches steps with Prabhudeva and Shahid Go Go Govinda and Saree Ke Fall Sa.

But she didn't used her skills properly, or maybe she didn't get a chance. Because in Bollywood, even when you are a star kid, actresses don't get projects for the purpose of showcasing their talent (Excluding Karan Johar kids).

Sonakshi is better actress than Deepika
