Vidya vs Priyanka: Who is better actress - Page 2

Vidya is my fav. But can't say she is better than PC. Both are very good in their own spaces.

Both are good but Vidya is better imo

Priyanka is of course more versatile.

Unpopular opinion: I have often felt that Vidya is over-celebrated, thanks to the strong women characters she has gotten an opportunity to play. While she has been good and competent in most of her films, barring Kahaani and Tumhari Sulu, she has never really managed to wow me...yet.

Both were good but I will go for PC she is good and versatile with strong performance oriented role, flower pot role or even as a villan and a side character got the credit.

I don't think Vidya can able to pull off Aitraz , Don and even a Barfi.

I liked Vidya in dirty picture, dirty picture, kahaani, tumhari shalu, but Shakuntala Devi is a Big let down, she didn't liked her acting it was over act in some scenes, but somehow I didn't impressed with neither acting nor the movie itself..

They are both great actresses but sometimes Vidya gets on my last nerve. Her happy go lucky characters are grating to me. Priyanka has come a long way and she can pull off most roles really well now. There are some Vidya roles where I feel if it wasn't for her bigger physique that suited the roles Priyanka would've done a better job.

If they both did the same role - Vidya would be better. However I think Priyanka is more versatile and has more options.

Likewise, I cannot imagine PC in Parineeta or even Paa. Traditional sati-savitri roles don't suit Priyanka, just as glamour-queen roles (generally) don't suit Vidya.

PC is a good actress and has played unconventional roles for a BW heroine, but I wouldn't call her versatile. She mostly suck at comedy, or lighthearted/bubbly roles. She plays grey-shaded roles very well, but don't fare well in typical rom-com type role.
