Both would have confronted each other( of course Raman would * NEVER* used such vitriolic words for Ishita..He would have confronted her in a civil way ). Then both would have understood that both of them made mistakes which led to this mishap and both would have cried in each other's arms for their loss. Because Raman knows deep down, what Ruhi means to Ishita.

11PM RKB and 11PM Ishita would always remain superior. Generally in ITV we have either abusive angry young men or unrealistic lovey dovey chocolate boys. Raman was as real as a ML can get *without* being problematic. 11PM Ishita too..what a woman she was! The way she broke the engagement with Prateek when he didn't stand up for her family at the time of crises, the way she turned cold to Raman in the accident track when she got to know that Raman was protecting Shagun..And she says I don't deserve this Raman! Straight to his face.Woah. Still out of her love she did care for him..Like when she asked Ruhi to serve Raman dinner when he comes home late or when she stops Mrs.Kaul from assassinating Raman's character in the court. Neither mahaan nor turning totallg insensitive to his pain.

RKB wasn't that typical abusive MLs who would misbehave with FLs and Ishita wasn't too mahaan. What characters! I wonder if I can ever see a show like 11pm yhm and 11pm ishita and Raman again!

If we go with the initial characterization of IshRa, then would they even end up in that situation? I feel like Raman would come up with something better and smarter to protect his family. He would take the help of a police but in a way that Nidhi wouldn't find out I suppose. Remember during Mihir-Trisha engagement track, he crafted a plan that tied up all loose ends? He made sure Trisha got with Neil, and he made sure Mihir ended with Mihika all the while making sure that Mihir finally got the courage to speak up for his love. And when he couldn't get through Mr. Tandon, Ishita did the job. I know the situation is completely different if Ruhi's and Pihu's lives are involved, but just a thought.

And to back track even further, how would 11 pm Ishita have dealt with Chadda's murder? I haven't actually watched that episode, but I know they hide the body or something, right? I feel like 11 pm Ishita would directly involve the authorites ASAP and clear the matter. Even years later, when she hid Pihu's mistake of pushing Ananya down the stairs, that was completely out of character. Not what 11 pm Ishita would do -- the same woman who felt proud of Raman for punishing Adi when his crime in the accident case was revealed.

And of course, the real 11 pm RKB would never -- and I mean NEVER -- even dare to negate Ishita's motherhood. Not during Adi-Vinni track, not during the leap, or any other situation. His biggest dream was that both Ruhi and Adi (and then later Pihu) get a loving mother and his kids stay with him as one family. There is absolutely no way he would spew such hatred at his wife and the mother of his children.

Raman is a blend of two extremes. Never thought that he would call her 'bhaanjh', but he did. Never thought he would give back Ishita the same place in his life after Adi's death, he did that too.

Both these traits are convincing, not out of character.

Apart from IshRa I loved how every bond developed in the show. Mr. Bhalla and Ishita,RaRu, IshRu, Iyers and Raman, Romi and Ishita..And my absolute favourite,Toshi and Ishita..

That is how people in real life are..they don't plan and plot against people just for the heck of itThey compromise with situations for their loved ones.

Ishita and Toshi's bond was beautifully developed before the time slot. Especially during the accident track where Toshi tells Ishita that just because Madhu wasn't home doesn't mean she doesn't have a mother with whom to talk to. Toshi wholeheartedly opened up Ishita and Ishita hugged her and cried like a baby. Also during the varahlakshmi vrat, Toshi mentioned to Ishita why she didn't come in Raman's life earlier, since she hadn't seen anyone be so considerate and caring towards him. After the time slot change all Toshi's character development went down the drain, with her obsession with Adi (GKC), her incessant rambling to get Romi, Rinki, and Simi married, and what not.

I agree that people don't just plan and plot for the heck of it. This is always my biggest complaint with ITV and the 11 pm YHM was completely different when it came to this. The only people we saw planning and plotting per se were Ashok, Sooraj, and Shagun which was digestible. The rest of the people had genuine relationships and flaws that we could identify with or at least understand. After the time slot change, the creatives just showed everyone just planning evil things if they wanted to show that character's strained relationship with IshRa, especially Ishita. We all know too well what Adi was like during AshGun wedding and then after that when he moved into the Bhalla house with Shagun. Years later, Pihu did similar things where she planned tricks to trap Ishita when she thought that Shagun was her real mother. That is not how a real child grows distant from or has conflict with a parent or step parent. They could have showed a proper internal conflict for Adi. He has a sense of morals and everything. He feels love from IshRaRu but feels a sense of duty and loyalty to Shagun even though he doesn't feel as much affection coming from her. And after the earthquake sequence, his conflict could have been of guilt and low self-esteem after Shagun abandoned him in the fire. I mean he felt suicidal after getting swapped for his sister but not when he found out his own mother had left him to burn in the fire? What logic in that? And don't even get me started on Pihu's dynamics with Ishita. Everything was way too forced.

There were so many flips and flaws after the time slot change happened.... But nevertheless ishra magic never fade.... This is the only pair of BT which thankfully didn't get any other people even after they seperated.... They came back to each other only.... That's ishra and their bond.... Nobody loved Ishita the way Raman did and nobody loved Raman the way Ishita did....

And SP promoting YHM is like wonders......

He was a man of extreme...He called her names but then he loved Ishita with more extreme..He could have had moved on in those 7 years when she was presumed to be dead but he chose not to..Ishita kinda became his obsession.

I've been on a Disney rerun lately and I can't help but see how so many songs would fit with IshRa to the T. Like this one from Beauty and the Beast. I can totally see Raman's POV for Ishita right around the time they were falling in love. He didn't let anyone into his turmoil and hurting heart but try as he might, he couldn't keep Ishita out.

There is no use in finding logic in the 7:30PM YHM. I wish makers had a little trust on their own product and continued to serve 11pm content even after the slot change. But anyways,11pm IshRa and YHM will always remain special to me. A journey I can cherish for lifetime

Shagun used to claim that Raman loved her with passion but what she didn't see was Raman's love for Ishita that was beyond every limit..Raman moved on from Shagun 6 years later when he married Ishita Sirf Ruhi keliye but he couldn't moved on from Ishita when she was presumed to be dead for 7 years..He could have had moved on and could have had remarry Shagun but he chose not to do that .

Shaggy used to feel superior that she gave birth to IshRa's kids but forgot what IshRa shares with each other is much more superior .When Shaggy wanted to return back to Raman he didn't accepted her back but when Ishita came back after 7 years she didn't do anything yet he accepted her back without any question.She wanted to return Ruhi to Raman and then leave but Raman restored everything back.Shaggy used to be irk seeing IshRa in same bedroom..She tried all her ways to get back with Raman n claim that bedroom but she couldn't do that and Ishita withot doing anything was back in that room n was sharing same bed with Raman..What shaggy couldn't do in those 7 years Ishita did it in few days and claimed Puttar n Bhalla house as her again.

In spite of all the shitty things Shagun did to 11pm rkb, he never crossed the line with her.He gave her the respect that Adi's mother deserved.I just can't imagine the same man spewing venom at Ishita,no matter how angry he is. May be that's just how I view his character.
