Exactly! He's doing all that Bani wants but in the end, will trap Bani in her own game. Another thing is that, normally actors who play a popular hero, don't usually opt to play a not much important villain. I don't watch KB but Dheeraj has a fan following and EK too wouldn't make him play just another villain in Naagin which is full of antagonists even if it's just for two weeks. If DD was really a villain, he would've pretended to be on Bani's side then would attack her when she's unguarded. Also, wouldn't have Ponky told his Veer Bhai that it was Mayuri who attacked him (We as audience know it was Jai in Mayuri's form but not anyone else). Then how he didn't question Mayuri? Ponky is also not visible since the fiasco. So is it possible that Jai captured Ponky instead of Veer. Veer had many doubts and he couldn't be so unguarded.

Exactly, DD ko ek do paise ke villain ke role ke liye woh kyun layegi?? I mean you are not wrong. He plays "Karan Luthra" in KB, aur yahaan pe Shakura play karega. How silly.

Upar se, the most dubious thing, Veer's picture was blackened, why on earth would he gain Aakesh's face?? How does Shakura know Aakesh's face? They even did not have a picture.

Shakura is a dubious character. Frankly DD is here for Satyug revelations is what I feel.

Honestly I feel very sad that this season is the least popular one because literally I feel this season is the best one in the franchise. And I'm saying this as a completely neutral viewer. I had zero hopes from Hina, Dheeraj and Sharad because I hated YRKKH, KB and with the exception of Maharana Pratap, I found Sharad's shows to be lackluster. No offense, but after seeing Sharad as comical Rishi in Kasam, when I heard he's going to play one of the leads in Naagin, I was like ki ye kya karega? Isko to dekhkar hi hansi aa jati hai (After watching him in initial lighthearted days of Kasam, I never thought he could play an intense character). Even in first two episodes, I was not happy with Sharad's casting. But since third episode, I've promised myself I'll never judge a book before reading it. Sharad is just too too...two ki power exponential good. I've always complained Indian heroes Kdramas ki tarah kyun nahin hote? But not again. I had never felt such about a character except Kdrama MLs and Damon Salvatore, but Veer's character brought back all that teenage butterflies and the credit goes to our writers and obviously, Sharad. I don't know why this season is not taking off but I guess audience loves OTT Mother In Laws, Saas Bahu drama more. I also don't get the hate the show gets. I mean, you can't expect realistic situations there because it's an urban fantasy. When there were four doppelgangers each of Elena, Stephen, Klaus in TVD no one had issues but if you tell anyone you are watching Naagin, everyone gives you the expression like you've told them you've seen a UFO. I feel in this season everyone's motives are understandable even Jai's because ego clash in relationships and not wanting to be in the shadow of your more powerful better half is something that's not outside psychological realms. Sorry for my long rant but I don't have anywhere to discuss the show for the fear of being judged. I also love Veer Bani dynamics because in ITV it's always heroine on whom the onus lies to make the hero understand and realise things and hero is a wooden personality who learns to feel his emotions from heroine. I'm glad it's the other way round here. It's actually refreshing to see a female lead with lesser emotional intelligence, who's aggressive, impulsive, duty bound and is not afraid to bite her enemies. I'm enjoying Markat Shaitan. Hai to cheelon ka Devta, but helps Naags. The way he's messing up with everyone's head even without batting his stone eyelashes is commendable. Why do I think that the person with blue eyes is Veer's mom and she'll be the main villain. Because no way, Jai, Mayuri, Shukla are the main villains. The main villain is always a heavyweight actress like Sudha Chandran, Rakshanda, Geetanjali.

Thanks dear. Sach me Weekdays to katte hi nahin hai. Saturday seems too far away. Lagta hai Maharana Pratap ke clips hi dekhne honge. Sometimes, I feel it strange that there aren't meatier roles for male leads in ITV. Like DD used to play Prem in Sasural Simar Ka when he actually had great potential. Like they have good actors but sometimes I feel ITV directors and writers can't match up to them.

i have a feeling it might pick up in terms of viewership and popularity? i think that either it's because of when it started and IPL, cause usually naagin starts nov so maybe after IPL things pick up OR after naagin 4 people gave up on it and haven't checked back. however, i think ratings are doing as good as IMMJ right now if i'm not mistaken, as long as we're in the same ranks it should be good. def sad that it's not doing as well but let's hope it picks up soon, esp after sharad comes back. s4 def ruined things though lol

Yes, season 4 had so much potential. They had Sayantani, who literally is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to acting and screen presence. Nia is also a good actor but writers messed it up real time. Even season three wasn't good. I had so much expectations from it because Rajat has been my most favourite ITV actor since I was 12 and Anita my fav since I was 11 but the season fell flat. I feel the beginning of season 1 was the best. I'm also waiting for Sharad. Funny, how Naagin always subverts expectations. Never was a fan of DD and SM, but now I can't wait for Saturdays. Thinking of watching Maharana Pratap after the leap.
