So, I was thinking about this question for a while and I have narrowed down to a few scenes that are my all time favorite. I have loved IshRa’s journey, especially the phase where they were falling in love but not recognizing it. But in my opinion, the best phase would be when they both had realized their love and were basking in the glory of their new feelings. I meant the time right after the Mani track, then during Shagun’s wedding, and during the time when Shagun was in Bhalla house (turning a blind eye to some character butchering there). In my head, IshRa had a heart to heart conversation the night of the Asia business head party where they poured out their hearts and cried holding each other instead of the almost assault they showed.
But unfortunately, we weren’t given the long IshRa centric romance track that would be the natural progression there, so I cherish the few scenes we got that were just pure love between them without any OTT drama or interference by side characters. The following are my favorite scenes that I could never get tired of watching:
1) When Raman gifts Ishita the huge necklace on Diwali.
2) When Raman gifts Ishita a ring and “seals the deal”3) Raman telling Ishita she is more beautiful than the bride at Shagun’s wedding
4) Their banter and romance after they returned from the airport and right before Shagun-Adi came to the Bhalla house. (Ishita in pink saree and Raman in grey suit)
5) Their scene on the couch right after Shagun and Adi get settled in their bedroom (Raman fools Ishita and brings her closer using his back pain as an excuse)
6) Raman gifting Ishita khaandaani earrings on New Years
7) IshRa parikrama around fire where Raman has kept a mannat for Ishita
Another favorite scene of mine is their dance on Banjaara during the accident track. Two songs that I really wished would have been picturized on IshRa are Humdard (from Ek Villian) and Saibo (from Shor in the City).
So true!
Till Mani's track, all were IshRa centric tracks. It's kind of sad that after they realise their love for each other,we havent got IshRa centric romance track. Their romance was always interrupted by haddis, amidst drama.
I feel bringing Shagun in Bhalla house was super weird. Instead they could have directly brought Adi's redemption track without bringing Shagun home. After the accident track, the judge says that Adi's custody will be reviewed again. But that issue wasn't brought up. IshRa could have legally fought for Adi's custody. Also since Adi wasn't getting the right upbringing in Ashok's house..it would have strengthened their case.
Also instead of all the Shagun's marriage drama, it would have been good if they showed us MiMi marriage.Lot of scope for IshRa scenes! Because honestly IshRa attending Shagun's wedding was unpalatable. We did get some amazing IshRa scenes in this track as you mentioned. But I would have preferred these scenes happening in MiMi marriage rather than Shagun's.
Ashok- Shagun could have married honestly. I always loved IshRa vs AshGun. It would have been fun! Ever since her marriage broke with Ashok, she started getting on my nerves..Super irritating!
Cant choose any one infact list for favorite ishra scene will be long but still most favorite scenes are below:
1) Raman ishita first rain scene remember ek duje ky vaste when raman saved ishita and both travel in rickshaw together
2) ishra lock down at home. That story of sonali kotis
3) ishra picnic. Kabab mein haddi nhe haddiyon ka dhair laga diya hai tumne
4) biwi ho tum meri court scene
5) liscene track .
6) ishita breaks her pregnancy news to raman their happiness is out of the world🥰
7) ishra meet after leap when adi was arrested. Their emotions and their expression..
8) kench meri photo piya.. when raman pulls her hand back ishita saying: change nhe hue they were sleeping so peacefully after long time😍
9) raman standing for ishita when adi deals with mr roy. I loved that scene when raman hugs ishita and says: kiske liye ro rahi hai. My heart went for them they are together for each other. That scene depict that they went far away from bachon kay liye now they are for ek duje kay liye only❤️
And many more i can literally spam this thread with ishra scenes. ❤️

Bold: I know right! Adi's redemption, a gradual relationship with Raman, and then acceptance of and with IshRu and the Bhalla family would have been a great track to watch, rather than seeing him be the malicious, evil knucklehead against Ishita. In Ruhi's case, Ishita brought her close to Raman, and in Adi's case, Raman could have brought him closer to Ishita. That way we could have seen more of the alpha male & caring father that Raman was instead of the crying, majboor baap. And once Adi was close enough to the Bhallas, a custody drama would have been the way to go. In fact, all of this should have started right after the accident track. There was no need to wait until after Ashok throws Shagun out. No parent would leave their child in such a house with people like Ashok and Suraj, especially after Adi got involved in such a serious accident case. And definitely not a parent like RKB.
Red: I agree here. I get that they went so that Ruhi would stay connected with her biological mother, but the writers went overboard with this idea. I mean IshRa and their moms dancing at Shagun's sangeet?! That was just too much. MiMi marriage track would have been a treat to watch! But like many things in the show, the CVs ruined another beautiful relationship and two amazing characters for who knows what purpose...

If there's any one scene I love post all the leaps, it's this one. I revisit it often. Thank you for sharing your list of favourite scenes.
I'm OK with MiMi not actually getting married because the original Mihika got replaced and Avantika was never able to recreate the magic of Mihika. Whatever little I got of MiMi, I cherish immensely.

I agree 100%! In my head, Mihika Verma is the only one who actually played Mihika Iyer. When I see post leap scenes with Avantika, I just pretend she plays Romi's wife and not Ishita's cousin.
Because of the prospect of Mihir-Rinki coming together, I was fine with MiMi breaking up too but I hated that they butchered Mihika's character for it (with her marriage to Ashok). I was excited about Mihir-Rinki's pairing but the story of how they ended up together was preposterous. Their pairing could also have given us an amazing couple who could have had carried the show forward with Vandu-Bala, Romi, Simi if given the right story.
Sigh... Vandu-Bala, Mihir-Rinki, Mihika-Abhishek all could have been great pairs. But no, they had to kill Vandu AND Rinki. I don't think anyone even mentioned Rinki after the leap, not even during Raksha Bandhan celebrations. Romi and Simi's story had potential too. But they had to drain Simi of her brains and ethics and get her remarried to Pervmeet and turn her into the most evil villain of YHM.
So many characters and potential storylines gone to waste 💔

I completely agree. Post leap, the makers got busy in shoving the new generation kids down our throats. I genuinely have a lot of complaints with the writers and creative team. However, I'm satisfied with the way YHM actually ended. The story came a full circle with a wonderful social message.
But yeah, the show could have ran successfully without a leap but this is a Balaji production, it's a must for them.
I dare you to post a thing about anyone other than DivAn.
