I think so creepy how Preity Zinta could f**k someone who is basically a child in an adult's body 😕 If the genders were reversed, the woke gang would be losing their shit.

Didn't they establish that he wasn't mentally ill after getting powers from Jadoo in this scene?

Yes😆
But generally, the abuse is the other way round. Marrying a poorer girl for money or other benefits to a mentally challenged/ill person to take care of him or produce babies.
It was more common in older generations and I'm sure it would have been more common if you go back historically in time , many marriages taking place under coercion.

😆
Totally forgot.
Anyways, I think what is problematic is people's awareness of mental illnesses. How people expect a wife to come and cure the guy of mental illnesses. Ridiculous. Eg - the Tv show Bidai - Sadhna and Alekh's wedding. Another show was Ek Koshish.
More recently there was a Pakistani show called Ranjha Ranjha staring Iqra Aziz.
At the end of KMG doesn't Rohit permanently get his powers making this question moot? I feel that Nisha wasn't interested in Rohit until Jadoo made him cogent.

Disturbingly creepy 😕
He actually raped her, I remember how people supported him and got mad at FL for not treating him nicely 🤢
People expect women to "cure" or "change" men, Life to hai hi nahi apna

Bhola doesn't get cured
In case of Alekh and Koshish, both the guys got mentally challenged due to a trauma that their brain refused to proceed.. In case of Koshish, the wife actually takes him away to an institute so that he would get over the mental trauma
Alekh yes was a bit ridiculous but even he got cured once he remembered what actually happened the night his grandfather died
Rohit himself said in Krrish , ki uski shaktiyon ka galat istemal kiya gaya hai .
ROFL🤣🤣

I don't remember what happened in Koshish as I was too small.. but in both cases the logical thing would be to declare the marriage null and void.
People don't get cured of mental illnesses overnight. It's ludicrous.. especially such developmental disorders. Its insane, it takes years of therapy and professionals not a WIFE! There were in no way fit to be married.

It's disgusting that showing such relationships, people are normalising it.
Funny thing is people jump and start bashing shows which show extra marital affairs calling it immoral. Whereas people are fine with watching misogynistic crappy dramas, devoid of any logic with problematic premises to begin in the first place.
Says a lot about our society and the desi mentality.
