In reality the love was so much that everyone loved rk seperation..
This story never showed it is a different one..
Here , the makers don't want to separate them .... that is why Radha started roaming like a roadie and advising Krishna wherever it is inappropriate and not necessary!!π² It seems , even after Krishna, Radha will stay back to look after Ayan and his family esp Jatila and Kutila for some more time to test our patience!! πOriginally posted by: Sweetypie34

Hello guysss..I am here again with a doubt. Is there any mention of Rukmini's childhood and from whom she hears the stories of Krishna?? Or of her birth. My friend is writing a story on krishnarukmini. So she's so confused...π
Please see this, if this matter is useful to her, I'll be happy. πOriginally posted by: JuneBorn

This was from Bhagavatham ...
Rukmini was the daughter of the king of Vidarbha, Maharaja Bhismaka. He was a very qualified and devoted King. She had five brothers named Rukmi, the second Rukmaratha, the third Rukmabahu, fourth Rukmakasa, and fifth Rukmamali. Rukmini was the youngest of them. She was beautiful and chaste and was meant to be married to Lord Krishna. She was informed about the six opulence of Krishna and simply by hearing about Him she desired to surrender herself to His lotus feet and become his wife. But her elder brother Rukmi arranged for her marriage with Sisupala, a determined enemy of Krishna. So she decided to send a message to Krishna and she selected a qualified Brahmana as her messenger. Brahmana gave the letter of Rukmini to Krishna. The letter was-
β My dear Krishna, O infallible and most beautiful one, any human being who happens to hear about your transcendental form and pastimes immediately absorbs through his ears your name, fame, and qualities, thus all his material pangs subside, and he fixes your form in his heart. Through such transcendental love for you, he sees you always within himself, and by this process, all his desires become fulfilled. Similarly, I have heard of your transcendental qualities. I may be shameless in expressing myself directly, but you have captivated me and taken my heart. You may suspect that I am an unmarried girl, young in age, and may doubt my steadiness of character, but my dear Mukunda, you are the supreme lion among the human beings, the supreme person among persons. Any girl although not yet out of her home, or any woman who may be of the highest chastity would desire to marry you, being captivated by your unprecedented character, knowledge, opulence, and position. I know that you are kind toward your devotees, therefore I have decided to become your eternal maidservant. My dear Lord, I dedicate my life and soul to your lotus feet. I have accepted your lordship as my selected husband, and I, therefore, request you to accept me as your wife. You are supremely powerful, O lotus-eyed one. Now I belong to you. If that which is enjoyable for the lion to eat is taken away by the jackal, it will be a ludicrous affair, therefore I request you to immediately take care if me before I am taken away by Sisupala and other princes like him. My dear lord, in my previous life I may have done public welfare work like digging wells and growing trees, or pious activities such as performing ritualistic ceremonies and sacrifices and serving the Superior spiritual master, the brahmans, and Vaishnavas. By these activities, perhaps I have pleased the supreme personality of Godhead, Narayana. If this is so, then I wish that you, Lord Krishna, the brother of Lord Balarama, would please come here and catch hold of my hand so that I may not be touched by Sisupala and his company.β
Rukmini suggested Krishna kidnap her. Actually, she wanted to avoid the war between Sisupala and Krishna.
Krishna upon being informed of the specific date of Rukmini marriage became anxious to leave immediately. He asked his driver, Daruka to harness the horses for his chariot and prepared to go to Vidarbha. The names of his horses were-
Saiva- greenish in color
Sugriva-grayish like ice
Meghapuspa-colour of cloud
Balahaka- ashen colour
When Rukmini went to the temple of Durga to worship the deity Krishna immediately took the opportunity of placing Rukmini on his chariot. Then Rukmi stood before Krishna and began to fight with him. Krishna also shotted arrows on him.
But Rukmini fell down at the feet of Krishna and plead to excuse her brother. After defeating Rukmi and all other opposing enemies they went to Dwarka and then Krishna married her according to the Vedic ritualistic principle.
I couldn't find any references to Rukmini's childhood.
