Social distancing is tough in a highly populated country like India that’s why we need more awareness. Of course it doesn’t guaranty you the success but at least people would be more careful if they know. There is a difference between india and uk. UK’s has much better health facilities than India. Here a lot of poor people doesn’t get proper treatment. So here corruption hugely effects people compared to uk. Plus the number of cases between uk and India is huge. Uk never even crossed 10k cases on one day.plus COVID is not the only issue here, we have India China conflict. Uk is a first world country, India is not as privileged as Uk. We do have money but due to corruption the money is not reaching out those who need it the most.

You can’t compare by pure numbers. You’re comparing cases of a 66mn population with that of a 1.3bn population country, farak toh hoga na. And never say never, current trajectory by chief scientists is showing UK will hit 50k cases by mid October if immediate intervention doesn’t happen. I’m by no means denying the corruption and other problems that exists, i’m just saying I keep reading it’s a ‘cover up’ and i’m just not convinced the average person would care to see numbers/facts about a situation which they already know is bad and one that globally everyone is struggling with. I.e. GDP, unemployment etc.
