Maybe cast in movies and work with them, but personally distant. Like parties etc may become extremely private.

Yes..that might happen...unless he/she becomes the lover of a top star...

Frankly speaking, once they establish themselves, the so called outsiders display the same clannish behaviour of an insider..wohi guroor..the same condescending attitude... bus hum log outsiders ke liye apna khoon jalate hai...while a frustrated and unsuccessful outsider might scream discrimination, a successful one wouldn't want a new entrant into his select coterie...handholding is generally done if they bring something very substantial and exclusive to the table

That's human nature I guess and that's how people survive in the real world.

1. Everyone is interested in themselves.

2. People will help you if they have something in it for themselves. It's very rare that people do things unconditionally for you, especially at any workplace.

3. People can be unconditional only in personal relationships, or if he/she is a saint.

Nepotism also works because people have family relations for generations, so it sort of becomes 'personal' for people. Say, if you could so something for daughter of a friend and get her a job. You'd do it willingly right? Even groom her if needed?

Yes bollywood actors/actresses smoke weed, yes they get high, what is new in this? Its been going on for so many years, and its not just in bollywood but its in every system, business sector, politics etc there are drugs everywhere, and i am very sure the authorities knew about it because these are powerful people involved, so why all this investigation and uproar only now? What were these authorities doing all these years? This whole thing seems completely agenda driven

It may well be, but because this is a global thing, with first world countries struggling just as much with similar figures on GDP and unemployment, I don’t know if the government would face much pressure on this anyway. 🤷🏽‍♀️ People aren’t coming down as hard on their governments because of the situation we’re in from observation.

India is m second when it comes to COVID cases and the number is increasing daily. Not to forget corruption here. prime minister’s office has refused to provide exact details of donations made to the fund or make public decisions about how the donations are being used. Plus a lot of money has been spent on supplying 50,000 ventilators ... upon checking it was revealed that less than 20,000 ventilators we’re actually allocated . Billions and billions are spent on corona vaccine research and hospital facilities but when you look closely you will see the problem.

I genuinely believe social distancing in a country like India is largely impossible. I haven’t verified any of the above but even assuming all of it is true, whatever reaction you’re expecting from the aam aadmi you probably won’t get even if you were to highlight this in prime time news. Because of how novel this virus is, almost every country was caught unprepared. You’re talking about 50,000 ventilators, imagine when the UK ordered 400,000 gowns that they flew from Turkey and each one of those failed the NHS standards. I don’t think the public have bothered to ask their government whether they received the refund for that order. It’s just been lost in all the Covid panic and news of a second wave.

Like someone said the murders are free and people who is doing drugs will be in jail. Killing someone is more important issue than drugs. They distracting the issue now. Justice for ssr is just nothing. Killers will be watching others get questioned and jailed. I think dp got influenced by her husband or her ex bf since they are drug addicts too or who knows maybe she was into drugs before them. A lot of people in the entertainment are in drugs for stress or for fun.

The film people in Mumbai have enough money to keep on making films. The audience only pretends to boycott. They all go and watch eventually if the film is good because they are bored and need entertainment.

Nobody is going to go film anything in UP. Send Kangana there forever. She can run her own industry.

Yup . Bjp is trying to control the film industry .. like we have dope on all of you so you better do our bidding . Similar to how they handle small opposition parties like Mayawati etc . Due to covid Bollywood is in limbo .. and dunno when will things get normal for them .
But once they do ie films start releasing regularly and ppl can go to theatres .. market dynamics will come into play . The big stars will have commercial hits etc .

Just cos it's everywhere doesn't make it right. and who said it's just weed?? And even weed is illegal so when these celebs buy weed illegally they indirectly are funding money to a whole racket which is involved in even more gruesome crimes. So yes expose everyone and if it's starting with these bellwood celebs so be it.. just cos they are celebs and has been getting free pass doesn't mean they should still get away with it
