Honestly. Maybe because he doesn't get meaty scripts handed to him like some others.

I would love to see him on screen more.

Might be coz the plain old love stories don't work in the Box Office anymore, audience are changing their taste so Shahid also have to do the same in accord. He is a method actor now, so he prefers to focus on a certain script in order to bring the best out of his role, yeah definitely it's a risky thing to do but he is appreciated for his performance coz of that. I really wish that Shahid would grab some dance movies, but not like Street Dancer 3D.🙈 Last time he was seen dancing in Urvashi music video.
