I do not think this has anything to do with misogyny, there has been no medical proof out in open yet about Sushant's depression or him having suicidal tendensies. None of the family members or his old friends are aware of it. Its strange. If he did have it then it would not have been difficult for Rhea to prove the same with his medical records and presciptions.

This case could very well be a murder or not, which is why it is still in the investigation. Unless there is a verdict we cannot refute the abetment to suicide or murder angle. Family has done the right thing by taking legal route instead of releasing blinds or just talk to media, I was initially in two minds in terms of Rhea's involvement, she just seemed to me who used and looted Sushant but felt she had nothing to do more than that, her latest interviews however have left a poor taste, her body language, smug smile, and the way she has portrayed sushant and his mother who are no more here to defend themselves, i cannot picture her in a good frame anymore.

Media trial be it a man or a woman its inevitable in such high profile cases.

I dont get this constant lecturing and questions.

What is the hurry of giving anyone clean chit before officials?? Three prominent agency of the country is investigating let them complete their probe atleast.

You held the accountability as the caregiver and person overseeing treatment, is this behaviour of someone who deemed herself as eternal lover and wanted to have his babies?

Even if we reverse the role(i.e. female star is patient and male star is the caregiver) then also partner/caregiver will be questioned, if lapses are found. It has nothing to do with gender.

What is abetment entail ? Knowing he is gonna take his life and not telling anyone or the harsh treatment she gave him ?

I dont know whether Rhea is innocent or guilty so I do not approve of thos herd mentality people are following. I mean how are people so confident she had a hand anyway? I really want to know because I haven't seen any concrete proof. Before people were blaming Bollywood when it was popular to do so and now Rhea. There is a reason why a jury member is not supposed to take part in the trial if the case is sensitive to them, it is ti precent miscarriage of justice which I see happening in this case.

This is indeed case of internalized misogyny to a larger degree. People have already made up their minds that she wanted to do aiyashi by looting his money. The way those men were hounding her and delivery boys in real life scares me that they would perpetuate domestic violence if their wives went against their orders🥱.

Another important thing is that many middle class Indians think person who is very talented in a "STEM major" are equipped with very good mental health and thus have the notion that he would never suffer from mental illness and can never commit suicide. Many Indians still view mental illness as shameful and a taboo. I pray that this changes soon because God forbid vulnerable individuals who have seen this buffoonery done around mental illness are discouraged to take treatment for the same because of the shame society places around mental illness
