What a amazing show. Way ahead of its time. Binge watching this, dekh bhai dekh ,hip hip huray . Rightful why they say 80s and 90s is golden era of ITV. Supriya pathak and Ratna Pathak are powerhouse of talent. In Idhar Udhar it was endearing to see both the sisters working together and Man they looked so gorgeous esp Supriya Ma'am I have girl crush on her. Anyone seen it ?

Wowww ...thanks for this topic ❤️❤️❤️ And I so agree with you TM. I saw it last year only....I was in awe with Supriya Pathak, she was so awesome, actually both Ratna and Supriya. Ratna's face was kinda similar with old her in her young age. But Supriya Pathak was unrecognizable and so natutral beauty.

God, and the show, so modern about two sisters ...I loved the actor too, don't know the name, who only came for two-three first episodes, I wanted him to be there all throughout the season. Though the other funny guy was also so apt.

Didn't watch season 2 whole, just some episodes. Loved season 1 alot ❤️, so less episodes though in that one.

It was a wonderful show. I guess it in on YouTube now. People who have not seen it yet should watch it if they want some old school comedy

Those shows in the '80s and '90s were much more progressive than now.

Udaan, lifeline, Hip Hip Hurray, Sukanya, Chunauti, and many more. Those were the days. It was the golden period of Television

So true actually i found a video of tried and refused productions on degrading quality of Indian Television and they showed shows like Sea Hawks, Buniyad, Aarohan ( Shefali Shah as Indian Navy Officer) and I was shocked like how advanced and progressive those shows were I mean i was in awe.

And these was scene of Idhar Udhar and I was could recognize Ratna Ji as u said her face was similar but Supriya Ji looked so so gorgeous I was just spelled by her beauty 😍💓. I have know them as great actresses and made iconic characters like Maya Sarabhai and Hansa Parekh but what a gorgeous sisters. Supriya ji has worked in movies in her prime time. She should have been Mainstream heroine. But then both of their's quality of work is totally amazing. They both could have given run to today's bland actresses if they were in primetime now❤️

I am watching the 2nd season. It is also fun, also Hip Hip Huray.

The actor you are talking about was great film actor.Even I forgot the name

The one Liliput is also fun character was advanced I wish I could have live those era to watch in TV live❤️

100% agree I think not only Tv but I think life was also much simpler and much amazing than now. I wish i could have born in those era to witness such amazing shows on TV. Unluckily born in late 90s to have option to watch Kekta 's dramas and other melodramatic shows.

Would deffo check the shows you mentioned😊
