Coz there really havent been any other stars whose career & roles have been manufactured and curated till this extent. Not to mention the kind of cushioning these 2 enjoy ki saala Kurl-on bhi sharma jaaye. 😆

I like the acting of both RK AND Alia. And yet I can see through their PR games.

I think the problem is their entitlement and the need to be shown as superior. That mindset is problematic. And even this Balki’s word was purchased bcuz his wife for funded by Karan to make her Dear Zindagi movie.

She doesn’t realize she didn’t even receive 50% of the life she got for English Vinglish with DZ

@Bold How does that make sense? Not everyone who wants to work work Ranbir will have it fulfilled simply because of the fact that Ranbir cannot be in every single movie there is. I'm sure if anyone of those people got an oppurtunity to work with him, they would take it. Example Shraddha, she has said seen ashiqui days she has wanted to work with ranbir but never got the chance and now that she did, she took it. About the box office comment, Ranbir has had as many hits as flops. So has the likes of Sri devi and Salman Khan. Salman had bloody 10 flops in a row and is regarded as a superstar today. But i dont care if Ranbir never achieves the superstar title because I care more about his acting skills and acting wise, I personally dont think box office can determine how talented an actor is. For that matter someone like Katrina would be the best actor alive. Ranbir has had many hits as well though and most of his movies that flopped, had more to do with the movie rather than ranbir. Even a Salman Khan or Aamir Khan cannot save films like Roy.

Well I beg to differ. Ranbir has stated he only ever wanted to be an actor and that if he wasnt an actor now, he would be a struggling actor. So i do think he would have made it without his surname. Ranbir is someone that has both looks and talent which is what you need for bw.

He's been around for 13 years, not many of those have worked with him, and it doesn't really matter anyway, cause many of them pass false praises and flattery when commenting on someone's movies or performance, various celebrities have admitted to falsely praising people in interviews without naming them.

If it comes strictly to acting, then Nawauddin, Rajkummar, Irfan, Sushant, KK Menon, Shahid, would run circles around him.

The guy is hyped because he is the scion of the Kapoor family, he's got the media, the pr, critics on his side, without the name, he wouldn't make it, he doesn't have the looks, nor the talent of the aforementioned individuals to make it on his own.

i cannot understand why people say hes good actor

i have watched his hit movies

he gives similar expressions in most scenes brooding frowning sad

there is something known as charisma

he lacks that on screen

if he was not kapoor could he give so many flops and survive

even bobby deol has given more hits than this guy and is flop and jobless

but this guy runs using his pr and surname

he successfully plants story of fellow co actors and hides on instagram/twitter using false names etc

other better actors sidelined to give him chance and to declare him great

But RK deserves the brickbats despite being maybe the best actor of all insiders. He did role grabbing with BV even if it turned clunker.
