After Amitabh, SRK is a classic example of ....He came, he saw, he conquered
.
It has become very easy to diss Sharukh's stardom NOW because of his age, his consistently degrading quality of films and his off-screen overall snobbishness/arrogance these days...
BUT
the stardom he achieved in the 90s, despite his "unconventional" looks (that people like to shit on now), was just........... something else and I don't think it can ever be repeated in Bollywood⭐️
SRK was able to do roles that no other actors at that time could.
Obviously it all looks like hamming now (especially that KK.K.K.K.K KIRAN..dialogue), but that 90s era was different.
For a significant period of time, SRK was LOVED by classes and masses like. From kids, to youngsters to family audiences, his films catered to all and it build his star power significantly.
Its an insult to compare his SRK with one-note actors like John and Arjun. They're good models, but very poor actors. Hrithik still is a good actor though.
His body of work in 2000s was pretty decent too. I hate what he has done with his career and personality in the last decade.
Aamir still has the support from classes, while Salman has support of masses (despite the failure of their films) but SRK, who was once in a league of his own, has somewhat lost support from both type of audiences because he has repeatedly disappointed both of them in the last decade
