Which Karan Johar film had the better music?

Which of these KJo directed film had better music?

One thing I have loved about KJo's films is that his films generally have great music. I can't really vote for a single album but these are my one-line reviews.

KKHH and K3G are evergreen.

KANK was pretty good too.

SOTY was hep and cool.

MNIK had 2 memorable songs.

ADHM had a lot of potential.

Those are my ranking of the soundtracks too.

ADHM-The whole album is a masterpiece.❤️

Let me guess Tere Naina and Noor E Khuda would be those 2 songs.Am I right?

I find Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to be his best and Student Of The Year as his worst album.

I find Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to be his best and Student Of The Year as his worst album.

The songs are Tere Naina and Sajda.

I didnt mind the songs of ADHM, but other than Channa Mereya I didn't feel it had much of a repeat value. Plus I feel someone like Sonu Nigam would have really elevated the album instead of Arijit. A singer's voice makes a hell of a difference. And since RK's character is shown to be a Rafi sahab fan, Sonu would have been a much more apt choice. Even KK would have done a fab job.

I found SOTY's soundtrack to be pretty wholesome. Radha, Vele, The Disco Song...all pretty different sounds and styles even tho they're all dance numbers; unlike ADHM where Bulleya and the title song sound pretty much the same.

Ratta Maar was okay but I would have loved a song like My Dil Goes Mmmm, Hey Shona or Khuda Jaane to be the love song instead of Ishq Wala Love. That was my only disappointment. I was in school when the film released and the songs really clicked with us.

Also I felt that KJo and Pritam were trying to stick with the trend and what's hot so Baadshah had a rap, Arijit was the male singer. If they would have gone with the music director's instinct and choice, the album would have been much better. The tunes are good but the sound got monotonous unlike SOTY's sound which is still pretty fresh.

K3G, all its songs were super hits: title song, you are my Soniya, Suraj hua madhyam, bole chidiya, Shava Shava, deewana hai dekho

K3G had better songs that can be heard even today. ADHM also had good songs but the music is outdated compared to K3G.
