Suddenly remembered this. It was such a fun film. And Johnny Lever's comedy was amazing. Miss comedy like this these days.

i remember Johny Lever used to have random scenes in every movie.. like that movie where Aishwarya Rai is a rape victim, one minute they show serious scenes with her then randomly there'd be Johny Lever out of nowhere..

That's usually a South Indian/Telugu movie format, and this film you're talking about is a remake of one such Telugu film. Audience there expects drama+comedy+romance+music+action all packed into one, and the film was catering to such an audience i guess.
