Fayda kya nuksaan tha. Pehle bhi batata tab bhi.

Duryodhan doubted the alliance of everyone Bheeshm, Dronacharya, Maharaj Shalya, Karna was the only one on whom he had complete faith, agar usko pata chalta about Karna being Pandava's brother, to uska full confidence reduce ho jaata.

One of the reasons Karna never betrayed Duryodhan was his blind belief in Karna, agar wo belief Chala jaata to Karna probably wouldn't have remained loyal to him as he was not bound by any Pratigya, usse Kaurav sena ko nuksaan hota

Baad me pata chalta Duryodhan ko to uska confidence down hota to uska final day performance hamper hota. So best tha ki usko pata na hi chale

Although if you ask me, my favourite distortion in BRC was Dury getting to know about Karna's secret, that was such a beautiful scene

Karna bloated Duryodhan's quest for war. Shakuni was in favour of peace and Bhishma, Drona, Kripa trio weren't actually standing with Duryodhan.

Revelation of Karna's identity would have weakened Duryodhan.

Plus since Karna decline THE Krishna there was no need to doubt? 😛 makes sense!

Thanks.

Karna was the son of Kunti no doubt

In fact compared to the other 3 Pandavas Karna was like Kunti in a lot of ways.

Both were adopted, secretive , ambitious , ruthless and shrewd.

The Pandavas had a lot of help from a lot of external people be it family or friends.

Kunti was alone a single woman who single handedly brought up 5 kids among so much of court politics. She could not depend on anyone except herself till the Pandavas married Draupadi and they met Krishna.

Similarly Karna was a lone warrior fighting for his place against the world.

If you see Karna was the most like her than the 3. To be honest the Pandavas were not very shrewd nor were they ruthless as compared to Kunti and Karna probably because they had to overcome so much in their lives

So, Bhishma had three sources. 😆

Narada, Vyasa, and Krishna.

Bheeshma had an extensive spy network. Actually, Varuna, the one with the thousand eyes, was a sort of spy master for the devas. From Khandava dahana, we know he worked with Bheeshma and Vyasa also. Narada was an expert at ferreting out people's secrets.

I always wish like crazy someone would show Mahabharata from the perspective of these shrewd old rishi-politicians.
