It took 60 minutes

It took a moderator less than one hour to shut down my post and get pissed off too...

See I did not agree before with people commenting that the forum had gone down the tube, I think all social sites go thru stages...Now I have to agree with them, alienating the few participants you have is not the way to manage...just saying.

1. Why are you getting hot and bothered? with a question but address the trolling as "posts that seem to be braking the rules", there is no seem! to me it was clear and the person doing it is allowed to remain and do it over and over.

2. Moderating is not catering, I hope, you are just doing what you signed up for.

3. It looks personal because you may not agree with my comments on other topics, if so that is too bad, because that puts the forum and the ability to express opinions on a short and narrow path to a barren place with nothing but trolls.

4. I am not one to fear speaking up, least of all when I add not detract from a place or situation.

So: Sorry but the "we have real lives" is an internal issue and lame.

By the way, I do hope you do have a life out of social media. I do and I even have alternatives to gossip about Bollywood.

Look we all have our personal lives and we do try to get to every report/post as soon as possible. Sometimes that means that it appears that a post is locked right away, while one might seem to have been around for hours, but it just depends on when we get online.

Additionally, the spam trolls are supposed to be blocked by IF's inbuilt technology and, thus, we will sometimes wait to see if IF's technology will block the trolls themselves. If not, then we deal with it.

Please be a bit considerate. Even in a lockdown, we aren't around 24x7.

Report posts and we will get to them within 24 hours.

In the future, if you have a concern with moderation, please PM the moderators. Additionally, follow the chain: Viewbie > Moderator > Channel Moderator > Global Moderator > Vijay.
