Apart from this Netflix flick She is also doing two films. One is a Pan-India Bahubali like franchise called Ponniyin Selvan by Mani Ratnam. It's a huge period film. She is best at period genre. Her role is Nandini Devi. She plays main villain who seduces films 'hero' and his friend. The hero never got seduced but his friend fell for her beauty. Eventually he was misteriously killed. Who killed him is the main plot.

Next is Pradeep Sarker's Binodini Dasi. It's a female centric period film where she plays a courtesan who built a theater for stage dramas and how she fights all obstacle to save her theater.

Doesn't matter. Web series are watched worldwide. I don't think they'd care where the money is coming from as long as they stay in the black.

If India turns into a losing proposition, they will close shop. Since they have not, we can safely assume the Indian originals have been profitable for them.
