and i checked IRCTC website from my city to tirupati on 24th april, the bookings are open and i even re checked with date april 14th so it showing due to COVID-19, there are no bookings...

Ammu, according to the data released by ministry of health and family welfare as on today at 9 AM. 3 states have the highest cases.. Maharashtra, Delhi and T.N.. They have crossed 450 mark.. and cases in Kerala are around 310. Kerala is efficiently controlling it.. So as per me, they cant open transport facilities yet.. And they shdnt be..

Then i think they r just assuming and taking chance.. Like what if govt ends the lockdown.. then there will be heavy rush in booking the tickets. And if lockdown doesn't end they can reschedule their bookings, so its just their assumption just like many people who think they will go to that place or eat in that restaurant after the lockdown.😃

i dont think till 14th or 15th there will be any news of extending lock down will be announced...

Itss ok opening the bookings is not a big thing, people can anyway reschedule it for later.

Yupp agree if they announce earlier then people will go in panic mode.. so they will do it in last moment..just like all the announcements they have made earlier..🤔
