The song "Pehli Nazar mein humne apna dil" with all the four leads Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna and Parveen Babi cycling together is a sweet memory from the good ol' DD days. A rare song in that you never hear a single voice at any time throughout the whole song.Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi sang the male vocals together.At the same time Asha Bhosle and sister Usha Mangeshkar sang the female vocals together.

Love love that song, hope they don't ruin this one with a remix version.

It was copied from a Japanese movie "Bullet train". Then Speed was inspired by it. 😆

Juno did a good job with the 'Raat Baaki' remix in Ittefaq. But it was produced by Red Chillies and Dharma. I'm not so confident with this T-series collaboration.

I wouldn't say that. The movie had its pluses.

1. Every character had his or her own track. Dharmendra being ditched by his girl friend after losing his fortune, Hema's unnecessary self-sacrifice (trust your partner, girl),Vinod Khanna -Parveen Babi's unhappy marriage due to his workaholic nature, Danny's jealousy building up slowly over a number of years before reaching an explosive point.

2.The star cast. Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Jeetendra, Neetu Singh,Vinod Mehra.

3. R.D Burman's music. Those were the days when every song in an album was worth listening. People buying records/audio cassettes wanted to get their money's worth.

4.One of the rare movies which went on to explore love after marriage. Or what happens when you start taking your partner for granted.

5. Despite the burining train the casualities were limited to the engine room staff. The writers somehow managed to save all the principal cast with hardly a scratch between them.Thereby executing the guaranteed happy ending.

Now for the minuses

1. Too many characters. No character's arc was explored properly.

2.Terrible comedy tracks.

3. Too long

4. Parveen Babi's character is a terrible mother. Who lets a 4 year old child travel on a train by himself from Delhi- Bombay?

The Burning Train isnt as bad as its made out to be in this thread lol IF and its overeaction...it was as good or bad as any masala bollywood film.

What are people talking about, it was an entertaining movie

It was really a great movie. Will never understand why it flopped back then
